We, no joke, had the same "Struggle Sessions" utilized by Maoist Red Guard members during the Chinese Cultural Revolution in 2020. Only with a racial flavor.

Reading the indictment is wild. At one point, Trump called the AG and deputy AG and tried to get them to override the election for them, then told them to just declare it to be fraudulent and then let him and the republican congressman handle it.

He did this twice, and on the second time threatened to fire the AG for not agreeing. He then attempted to replace him with one of the co-conspirators, twice. He first sent the coconspirator to fire the AG, who rejected the attempt, then in a meeting with the AG and the co-conspirator, Trump tried to fire him and stopped when he was told the DoJ would see mass resignations if he did.

He and his co conspirators were outlining the crimes to each other in emails and texts, and talking about it in front of witnesses who weren't even really in on it.
That sounds really scary. Almost as bad as that time he grabbed the steering wheel
Or the time that perfectly vetted dossier said he was an agent for Russia. We must believe everything that's accused because Trump bad.

Pretty weak take over, tbh. Colombians driving armored cars into their supreme court and killing justices constitutes a takeover (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palace_of_Justice_siege?wprov=sfti1).

Walking around the Capitol does not.

If only everyone had bent the knee, asked zero questions, and gave zero ****s about election interference and the 81 million joke of a phony predetermined election result, then popular political opponents of the regime wouldn't have to be imprisoned.

I don't buy the indictment's claims at all.... but if true.... Trump would not have been wrong.

The election WAS fraudulent.

We are witnessing the absolute collapse of America. I'm afraid we have crossed the point of no return. No coming back from this. Everyone will blame each other and there will be chaos in the streets all while the political elites smile behind the scenes with the their newfound absolute power. Bottom up, top down just like they planned. Batten down the hatches, get right with God.

Let's have him go through due process and see where the admissible evidence leads/shows. I thought Rittenhouse was not guiltily based on the evidence, but I also thought Murdaugh's case wasn't proved either. I am going to watch and see, but the indictments are alarming, and the crimes, if proven.

Let's have Biden go through a trial of taking bribes for political favors or Trump disputing the vote counting? What trial are we talking about and how are the kids?
If you think I am going to say no to this you are wrong. If there is the evidence to indict, no one, especially the Commander In Chief is above the law.

There is lots of evidence. Emails, bank transfers, phone calls, sworn testimony, IRS investigations into unpaid taxes, FARA, human trafficking , drug use, illegal firearm purchase, enriching your family with bribe money with a crackhead son that loves to knock up pole dancers. Or are we talking about a former president that still has some documents in some boxes that his staff packed for him? Republicans didn't take your kids. I'm afraid the bloodless Bolshevik revolution already happened.l circa 2009-2017. The party that used to stand strongest for liberalism, open mindedness, expression of differing viewpoints, freedom of speech, and freedom of the press to hold big government and big businesses accountable and transparent to the people now opposes all of those things vehemently. They have commandeered the press and it's ability to program the masses as it wishes and they own a cabal of billionaire tech platform monopoly founders as well as global conglomerates and financial institutions. They are 100% in alignment with permanent government bureaucracies in justice, intelligence and counterintelligence who have amassed far too much permanent power. They have been interfering and rigging our elections and they are imprisoning political opposition in broad daylight. The republican's former role of exiting only to attempt to slow the roll of socialist takeover is gone. It's a one-party Marxist regime now and the opposition- anti-communists and anti-socialists who still believe in far right wing extremist things like hard work, merit, and the American dream in a land of opportunity are political enemies of the state.

Neither Rittenhouse or Murdaugh are Republican politicians. The anti-American socialist worthless liberal democrats will do anything and everything, legal or not, to destroy Trump or any threat to their beliefs. The FBI, DOJ, IRS etc. are willingly complicit in the attempt. Evidence won't matter, nor will the normal rules matter.

Does this country have the fortitude for 3 to 4 more years of Trump litigation?

They started investigating Donald Trump in 2015 with the wiretapping of Trump's campaign headquarters under an alleged FISA warrant.

The investigation into Donald Trump began the instant he took office.

The initial investigation lead up to a failed vote on impeachment in 2017. Later Trump would become the only president to be impeached twice. And remarkably in a single 4-year term.

Trump's been out of office for coming up on 3-years.

These cases against Trump may reach a final resolution no sooner than 3-years from now. By almost all accounts.

So in total, the People of the United States of America will have investigated and litigated against Donald Trump for more than a decade.

Prior to 2015, Donald Trump was one of America's most beloved persons. He was a regular guest on every talk show there ever was. Trump was known to be friends with Oprah and Mike Tyson. Possibly the two most beloved and well known figures in recent history. A celebrated guest of every late night talk show host for decades. Was on the WWE. Screen Actors Guild member. Sold 1.1 million copies of his book that was also recommended reading in MBA programs nationwide. Attended Chelsea Clinton's wedding. And had a hit tv show with 20 million weekly viewers.

And now we are looking at the imminent realization that Donald Trump will have been gone after for more than a decade. A single man will have completely captured the focus and attention of America for more than a decade. Gabriel will blow his horn before the people pursuing Donald Trump get done with Donald Trump.

A truly unbelievable account of events.

You wouldn't even believe it, if you weren't there to see it.

This is cross posted on the other thread. But if I took the time to write it out and learn you on this, then y'all may well take the time to read it again.

Flynn got railroaded into a guilty plea.

The FBI withheld evidence that would have given Flynn a valid reason to believe he would be exonerated from the charges.

Then, after failing to provide the evidence to Flynn, they threatened his son with prosecution.

https://www.cato.org/blog/two-things-nearly-everyone-gets-wrong-about-michael-flynn-case

Quote:

It has been reported, credibly in my judgment, that the stalemate was brought to a head when the SCO leaked to certain reporters that a guilty plea from Flynn would ensure that Flynn's son, who was under investigation as Flynn senior's business partner (and also happened to be the father of Flynn senior's fourmonthold grandchild) would not be prosecuted. This is the sort of despicable tactic one associates with tyrants and dictators; but to our infinite discredit, it appears to have become a routine feature of American prosecutions as well.

This was a power play to get the father to plead guilty.

AG Barr realized the game being played here and dropped the charges against Flynn, only to have Democrat Judge Sullivan step in and attempt to enforce the ill-gotten guilty plea. Issue was only settled by Trump's pardon of Flynn.

After years of Piss Tape Prophets, Steele Dossiers, and FISA Court fraud, how on earth can you trust anything that comes out of the Department of Justice or the FBI when it comes to Trump?

Trump is going to be convicted, it's as simple as that.

The Trumpers have two choices:

1) vote Trump in the primary and have Biden watch and laugh at Trump in prison,

2) or vote DeSantis who will pardon Trump.

That's reality.

No way in h@ll that Trump avoids a conviction with this Judge: female; Jamaican; Obama appointee; who already made rulings against him.

No way! Trump is going to be a convicted Felon soon enough. The only hope for him is a pardon from President DeSantis.

What to know about Tanya S. Chutkan, the judge overseeing Trump's Jan. 6 case

U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan is set to oversee former President Trump's case involving his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

The big picture: Chutkan has previously dealt with Trump, denying his 2021 motion to halt records from being turned over to the Jan. 6 committee, writing, "Presidents are not kings, and Plaintiff is not president."

Chutkan's background
Born in Jamaica, Chutkan received her bachelor's degree in economics from George Washington University and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

She worked in private practice for three years before joining the District of Columbia Public Defender Service, where she worked as a trial attorney and supervisor for over a decade.

She then joined the law firm Boies, Schiller, & Flexner LLP and specialized in litigation and white-collar criminal defense for 12 years.

Former President Obama appointed Chutkan to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in 2014.
