You really think so, Yossarian? I definitely don't think the shark has been jumped yet. Even on its worst day, The Office is better than 95% of the other crap on tv.

I will say though that I think that the 30 minute episodes (or even the 45 minute ones) maintain the laughs a little more, and just seem to work a little better. The past three weeks have been great in the first half, and seemed to lose a little steam in the second half. Still enjoyable for me, though.

Stanley dancing to the website music was great!

Oscar at the party planning meeting to critique Michael's shirt "Is this why I'm here"

And best of all were Ryan's cliches - "apples to apples from 30,000 feet..." I've heard everyone of those that he said at business meetings. That was brilliant!

Got to give it up for Darrell's defense of Kelly and then his look and "mmm" when he found out she wasn't dating Ryan.

a lot of you nimrods are way too hard on this show. Its funny. Is every episode taking television to new heights? no, and it shouldn't have to in order for it to be a great t.v. show.

And if you think it has "jumped the shark" you have no real understanding of what that term means.

Exactly. I haven't seen Ted McGinley anywhere near the show.

Saying this show "jumped the shark" is stupid. Michael and Dwight are outrageous and do outrageous things. That is why I watch and have always watched the show. I see a realistic office at work every day. I don't want to come home and watch it in TV.

If Michael driving into the lake and kidnapping the delivery boy bother you, how did you ever get into this show in the first place? Can something not become successful without people immediately *****ing and looking for its downfall?

People say that it is jumping the shark just to sound cool. It's the trendy thing to say.

as gay as this will come out... it reminds me of that scene in hitch where all of the rich chicks' friends are bashing everything because it's the cool thing to do saying "deesgusting"

then kevin james *****slaps them.

No kidding. I loved that he rattled them off one after another for about 2 straight minutes. I had a boss once that would say, "at the end of the day" so often we would keep a tally at meetings.

The opening scene with the screen saver was just greatness.
