I think Sylar is simply telekinetic. He can manipulate objects with his mind (including himself). After he is shot you when Matt turns around to help the FBI agent you hear the bullets fall aharmlessly to the ground as Sylar gets up and escapes.

Also, a lot of people think Sylar is the mysterious black guy, but he is not. Sylar as seen before was a white guy with facial hair wearing a jacket and baseball hat.

I think Ali Larters character told the guy she beat up in the elevator "If you ever threaten OUR kid again....."

Do you guys think her alter ego is her dead husband? I know we don't know he is dead, but he might be. It would also explain why she knew the burial site of his dead accomplices.

Sylar has been cast actually and already been in the show. Maurice LaMarche played him, however he's only a voice actor which leads me to believe that Sylar is going to be a cgi character. Also, Erick Avari is going to play Dr. Suresh, so there will either be some major flashbacks/going back in time, or he is still alive.

When I saw the pic of Avari on the book cover, I figured he would be around somehow...no way they put someone recognizable on the book and then never use him.

That girl that lives across from Mohindur really annoys me. I love the ideas and concepts of this show, but some of the acting is horrible

Also, I forgot to mention while supporting my "Sylar is telekinetic" theory that this could also explain freezing someone solid, which you could presumably do if you could simply force molecules to stop moving with your mind.

i think hiro was packing a ninja sword - profiling maybe?

if somehow the market could support a 2hr time slot, that would be the best presentation. there are so many characters and theyre attempting so much character AND plot development, a 30second snippet of the guy getting mindmelded needs more support in the same episode.

and the black lady, does she have powers? she's featured in the photo, isnt she?

great show.

Its an allusion to Future Trunks from Dragon Ball Z. There is a character named Trunks in the series/comics who has an alter ego from an alternate timeline who comes back in time to help alter the future or something, Im not that familair with it beyond that.

My husband and I watched the preview for tonight's episode this weekend. He's convinced that the brother of the politician is delusional and cannot fly and that only the politician can fly.

I guess we'll find out more tonight.

The brother of the politician CAN fly, but flying is not his power. By the last episode he already realizes that his power is to mimic the powers of whichever other "hero" he is around.

He can fly around his brother, he drew a cryptic picture of the future under medication after coming into contact with Isaac, and he was not frozen in time like anybody else would be when Hiro from the future contacted him at the end of the last episode. He also explains to Mohinder that he believes he is able "to do things when he is around other who can do things"
