Hmm, there are still two heroes they haven't introduced (in the pic above, the black guy and the Hispanic guy on the far right).

So they have about a month to get everyone together to stop this nuclear explosion....

sounds like it's going to have to pick up a little. Although I kind of like the slow pacing, letting you get to know each character a little more... I figure once they get them all introduced and then get them together they won't have to spend so much time on each one... it'll be more about them just being together and using their powers to fight crime.

NBC would have been better off airing the first two episodes as one movie premiere the way it was meant to be. The end of last night's episode really set up what we are going to be seeing this season...I can't wait.

Something tells me there are going to be three factions: the Heroes, Siler(sp?), and the guy with glasses(who I think will end up being some Fed who is investigating these mutations.) But that's just a guess.

Missed the first episode, but caught last night's. Wasn't too bad, a bit slow, but they are still developing all the characters right?


When are they going to get together and move into th Hall of Justice?

yea - i was thinking the glasses guy was siler. now we know the cheerleader is adopted - and the glasses guy didnt seem to be thrilled about her magic...

i missed the first half - did they show anything about how that house got wrecked and the guy got frozen?

No, that murder scene started with the guy from Alias outside... then he started hearing the girl's thoughts.

Never saw anything about the actual crime occurring and that was the first mention of Siler.

Ya I watched it again...ill admit i kind of like it (dammit!!!), meaning i will now be watching Monday- Heroes, Tuesday- Friday Night Lights, Wednesday- South Park, Thursday- Earl and Office, Friday- Take a break to get trashed, Saturday/Sunday- Football galore...

I thought the second episode was inferior to the first one, and yes, I agree, it would have worked better to have a two hour pilot movie, that way they could hit the actual series running.

The show had moments, but the second episode was a bit slow. They need to pick up the pace or they will lose some audience.

But, all in all, I am at least somewhat hooked and will watch again.

I dont think so.

1)At the end of the first episode the younger brother/nurse comes in contact with the druggie artist. This is where he sees the painting that gives him the idea of jumping off the building

2)After jumping off the building he falls and does not fly on his own until after his brother flies up to him and then drops him.

3)While recovering in the hospital he draws an ambiguous, crudely drawn stick figure picture

4)The second time he flies (hovers) is also in the presence of his brother.

5)At the end of the second episode the crudely drawn picture is revealed to be of the moment (in the future at the time of the drawing) he hovered in front of his brother.

I think theres enough evidence to say that brother #2's power is not really flying like his brothers is.

Hmm...that gave me a thought - what if his power was something like Rogue from X-Men, where he takes on the powers of those he touches. He touched the Isaac the artist when trying to revive him, then drew that prophetic stick figure drawing in the hospital. He also touched his brother during the flying rescue, then was able to hover....

Maybe the brothers must be togather to be able to fly. Seprate they cannot but when they are togather they can.

But do you remember when the younger brother said that he woke up in the morning and his foot was hovering above the floor? I don't think the brothers live together, so maybe his power is not entirely like rogue's, or maybe he can fly on his own. The younger brother also had dreams of flying before he met the painter.

He's got some kind of power that connects him to people. He seems to know whats going on before its told to him, he felt a connection to his brother when he was in trouble, etc. We dont know the whole story yet, but to me the not flying until after his brother reaches him combined with drawing the picture of an event before it happened strongly indicates to me that theres some kind of using others powers going on with him.

It didn't pierce her skull, if you notice it went in the soft spot behind her ear.

We also now know what she is capable of, she can quite literally die (I assume she had been dead for quite a long time) and then come back from the dead as soon as what caused her death is removed from her body. We also know that if you interrupt her brain function that her power does not work.

According to the previews for next week the black guy (who was at the bar) and the Dad (Syler??) are in cahoots - they are both seen with the cop.

I'm guessing Syler can stop time as well - hence his room being cleaned out.
