So I was thinking about the fact that there just happens to be this sword that has the symbol used to represent the heroes, which would seem to indicate a modern sword...then this thought hit me...Hiro isnt exactly constrained by time...its pretty probable that this samurai he's been told of is actually himself.

JJ thats what i thought of to! That it was actually Hiro doing that. But the story is a little off because he said that the Samurai didn't have his powers until he had his sword later on. Unless.. Hiro goes back in time to find the sword thus him really being that samurai.

I don't know this for sure, but I got a pretty good hunch they are going to pull a ARG soon and they are collecting information in order to start the game.
If you would have given them a legit telephone number or address, then you would probably receive one of the first "clues" that starts the game, such as a random phone call or a letter in the mail.
Bungie did something similar to this with their Halo 2 release with the ilovebees.com website and it was pretty cool. I wouldn't be surprised if Heroes does something similar during the re-run season.

These last 2 episodes of Heros haven't been that interesting. I hope it picks up the pace soon.

So Sylar is finally going to be loose again. I wonder what he does with horn-rimmed glasses? And it will be interesting to see who Claire's real father is, if they show his face. I wonder if it will turn out to be Linderman? And I wonder if Linderman has any abilities, or if he's just your average crooked businessman/crime boss type.
Her real father is Bill Clinton, he makes a cameo.

-I dont the the invisable man is trying to help Peter. If Peter's vision about exploding is actually a vison of the future, then I dont see how the invisable man is trying to help b/c if I recall correctly he is laughing before Peter blows up, while all the other heroes look concerned.
-I dont think Peter explodes b/c he absorbs the atomic guys powers, I think it is from absorbing all the other powers around him. All the heroes are there so he is absorbing everyones power. When he was around Skylar he got sick b/c he was absorbing too many powers since Skylar had so many.

Heroes is a great show, but it wouldn't be the same without Hiro. The "That's how we roll" line had me on the floor. That and the "WOOOOSH. woosh" line and hand motion from last week.
Last night's episode was slow though... this show is starting to move at the pace of Lost.
I think the pacing is perfect. It could maybe speed up "a tad" but anything else and it would be too over the top.
I mean, more over the top then people flying, moving through walls, or blowing up.

it is moving slow because they are trying to incorporate more characters. They need to stop making new characters and focus on the ones they have. Or they could go the route of 24 and start killing some of the major characters off, thus making more room to keep the pace up and introduce new characters week to week.

i agree, this has nothing to do with the overall plot so far and i feel like it's only there because ali larter is the biggest name on the show(and because she's hot)

I think that may be what is killing the show for me right now. Every other story line is interesting save for this.
i think the reason they're in this story is because they crossed linderman before with the $2 million. but imho they're pretty much useless. they only showed us that linderman is from the movie casino...
Ok, when they said something about guess who her dad is, and then they showed a wrist watch, Sylar is the first thing that popped into my head. I think the watch was shown just to throw people off though.

When I saw the hand with the wristwatch on next week's preview the first thing that I thought was that Claire's dad could possibly Nathan Petrelli.
How old is Nathan supposed to be? In an earlier episode did they mention that he covered up an affair during his campaign, or am I just dreaming this?

that's exactly what I thought. Either Nathan or Linderman. The arm looked like Nathan, but we haven't seen Linderman yet so his appearance ephin needs to come soon.
