I definitely dont think that we have been shown anything to say for sure that the future has been altered. All the major plays that we saw from the future episode are still possible.

DL is dead and Sylar never got his power.
hmm ok, maybe i missed that part but i didnt think it actually showed DL die last night. There was a period of about 10 mins when I wasnt really paying attention so maybe it happened then.
Can we assume that the invisible man is dead/gone? Sylar seemed to go invisible which would indicate that he killed Dr. Who.....which is way not cool.

Actually wasn't a troll. Just noticed last night that the story plot seemed familar. Sorry if it has been said before. Only became clear to me recently. Wasn't looking for an argument, just expressing my idea of where the troy line was taking us and why.

The writters are very clear that the destruction of NY is for politcal gain. We have the three spokes of the wheel of present day America. Evil secret power brokers, a runaway power hungry killing machine and misunderstood terroist.

Anyone else seem disappointed in this setup? I know they are trying to tie up loose ends and prepare for the finale and next season, but everything felt very rushed and poorly executed. I think this started with the New York City scene from the end of last week's episode. Terrible acting/writing!

for what it's worth i don't think Sylar can go invisible. They would have shown us if he had killed Claude and he was surprised when Peter when invisible on him.

I don't think Sylar can invisible either. The invisible man is basically invisible all the time. The only way I can see Sylar getting his power is by getting Molly Walker first.
As for when Peter stops time, I don't think he's the sharpest tool in the shed. He doesn't seem to realize what powers he has. He probably won't realize he can stop time until he sees Hiro do it.

peter has most definitely seen hiro stop time...

Now i understand why the FBI went to Issac Mendez apt in the future(day of the Bomb) when Hiro got Captured. I am sure that FBI chick was running up on the phone call that Sylar(he said he was Issac) made to the FBI.
Isn't everyone reading a LIIITTTLLE too much into this, when more than likely most of the explanations to things like "Why didn't the nuclear guy escape from the police truck?" are as easy as "Because they just wrote it that way"?
