I actually think they did a really good job scheduling the show...there have basically been 3 cycles: Sept-Nov, then a break til Jan, straight through to now, and we will get cycle 3 from April-May. Lost would have benefitted from this type over its 2-cycle run.

cant wait till season 1 comes out on DVD!

Its gonna kinda suck next season when some of these characters are gone.

I still really dont see how Ali and her Family really play a major role in this show.

I think this might be the best show on tv right now. Is Linderman good or bad? They intially portrayed Mr. Bennet as a bad guy so I think they could be doing the same with Linderman.

^ I thought the same thing...looked up Adrian Pasdar too see if I was unaware that he was an Aggie, but he's not. The character does have ties to TX through the Claire and Firewoman, though.

Good, I wasn't the only one that thought that was an Aggie ring he had on.

Nabbed the episode on the computer, will have screenshots up as soon as it imports into moviemaker. It's pretty hard to make out any detail though.

Ok this is the best picture I could get. It has the watermark kinda in the way but it's the one that shows the most detail(and is most in focus on the ring).

I seem to remember a scene, though, where he was scratching his head and the ring was a main focal point of the shot. Anyone know which one that was?


Anyhow, it does kind of look like the side with the cannon and saber. Wish I could get a better picture.

Whats the difference? She is a form of a shape shifter.


I saw an interview with the actress yesterday about her character. Her character does not shapeshift. She has the ability to make someone see something that isnt there (ie changing the room when the cops were in there). So nothing really changes, but she can play with their brains and make them see anything she wants them to see. Apparently she also has healing powers, unless she was making nathan and the artist just think they had a gun when they shot simone?

it was claire with dark hair. maybe since she has gone underground she changed her look. Perhaps the new season will take place in the future? Like two years from this past episode.

oooooh, thats one way to see it I guess. I was just thinking that the illusion girl was simone all along, and that simone hadnt actually been shot. I dont think I paid enough attention last night, so can someone tell me if simone is really dead or not? Wouldnt they have found a dead body if she had just taken her place after she had been shot?

Yes I do.
I think their are two possiblities.

Linderman is really Nathan's and Peter's Father. Nathan said his father was Lindermans attorney so grandma would have had an opportunity to cheat.

Or Grandma is part of the company or an original member that left, would explain how she knew about Claire when Nathan didn't, and Linderman is somehow involved with the company as well.

This is the first week that I have been really impressed that the show knows where its going...for the rest of this season at least. When Hiro met Peter on the train way back in November, he said something about his hair and scar obviously alluding to what happenned last night.

I've been waiting for an explanation on that, so its nice to see things start to come full circle.

Well Peter knowing Claire's ability and STILL having a scar also proves (at least in my mind ) that he is not as powerfull with the different abilities as the person he got them from but can use them all. Meaning Siler is probably a stronger telekinetic but Peter will have MORE abilities to call upon.

Brennus,it doesn't prove that at all. It does prove that he doesn't have great control over his powers yet. If his healing powers were a watered down version of Claire's, I doubt he would've walked away from breaking every bone in his body earlier in the show or falling and impaling himself on a cab.

It then means Peter CHOSE not to remove the scar in the future ( potenially YEARS) from when Hiro came back. Claire doesn't have any scars from anything. Peter will HAVE to have some limitation or he could become SO powerful nothing could stop him. In 20 years he could have hundreds, potentially thousands of powers but by what you are saying it would only take time and he would master them fully just as much as anyone. Previously in this thread we were discussing how overly powerful Hiro could be if he could change the past. I am saying unless some sort of limitation is put Peter's ability he could become way too powerful.

Since we don't know at this stage what that limitation is, that is my opinion on what it is.
