I just went on NBC.com and found it (in the free replay of last night's episode).

The name appears as: "SANJOG, Iyer"

Headlines on articles in folder:
"Scientists say learning continues in sleep"
"Sleep Research Reveals new areas in the Brain"

Then some crazy-looking pictures and then a photo of the boy with the soccer ball in Mohinder's dream.

i think the little kid is another hero, and the only one that his dad actually found. and the kid can appear in dreams and somehow show people what happened in the past when they weren't there.

Thanks for looking that up, I thought it was Syler too. So, more than likely this little boy will guide Monder back to NYC. Also, the promos and the episode made it sound like next week's episode will be the one where they all meet and try to save the cheerleader, but half of them are in NYC and the other half are scattered around the US.

next weeks episode is names "homecoming" from the pictures thats the night that Syler tries to kill her. The preview showed her and Syler fighting but like very other show that can be drug on for 2 episodes.

She wasn't fighting with Syler. I slowed the DVR down and saw who was chasing her, but there was another shadowy figure following after them. If you want, I will post DVR spoilers when I get home (for those interested).

Book it: Syler is either the Petrelli's thought to be deceased father OR the mobster from Las Vegas (ya its a stretch but they have made him tie into many of the heroes so far) and the soccer ball boy is actually Mohinder, I know the name didn't match but i bet it was him, especially when it was revealed that his sister was "special" as well.

So the "heroes" seem to have either a "=" tattoo or the DNA Helix tattoo. Could the "equal" mean good guy (cop, fire man) and the DNA mean bad guy (Nikki/Jessica)?
And could these be brands that maybe the dude with glasses put on them when he found them so he could ID them later?

Hey Tex, Syler is Peter from the future. Book that.

I firmly believe Syler is already a character we have met, else there would be no reason to continuously shield the face (either then to make him look mysterious).

That could be possible! He gains power by being around the people.. if he somehow keeps those people or their brain he can keep their powers?

The hot chick's alter ego is bad too. If we are saying peter absorbs others powers, then it isn't too far of a stretch to say that Slyer is Peter, in his alter ego form... absorbing brains to get evil.

He picked the name Slyer from patient zero, as a disguise maybe?

Peter as Sylar seems like a stretch. Why would Hiro go back to tell Peter to save the cheerleader from himself? It would make for an interesting twist.

If Sylar is Peter I think it becomes TOO much of a time paradox show. but we will see what kind of time paradoxes this show will deal with now that Hiro went back to save the waitress and how that ends up.

Why wouldn't Peter go bad? They need a major twist and I don't think you can get more major than making the most sympathetic character in the show turn bad. Seriously, all of the pieces have been laid for this to happen - the "depression," being called out by his brother, frustrated with his powers, etc. He is a chameleon who temporarily absorbs the powers of those he is around. That temporary effect could greatly become permanent with a healthy diet of hero brains!

Think about what happens if he accidentally or purposely absorbs Nikki's power. Would he have an evil alternate identity like her? If so, it might make sense that Sylar is Peter from the future. He would likely become power hungry.

Earp, yes it was Syler. The watch was shown in a close-up shot as Syler sat in the diner before making the waitress a convertible. It was stopped at 7 minutes to midnight, which was the name of the episode. In the cab flashback, it was also 11:53.

wow nice observation. there are so many small details in this show that one should watch each episode at least twice. The first three episodes that I rewatched I picked up on so many of these small details I didn't see the first time.

I got the impression that the "=" tattoo somehow came from the Haitian guy when he messed with their minds.

Both Radioactive Man ("AAHHHH!!! My eyes! The goggles..they do nothing!" and the cop who reads minds had the mark. And they both were taken by the Horn Rimmed Glasses guy and had their minds probed and erased.

I just assumed that the mark was created during the mind probe.
