- Nobody complains when someone gets a fifth year of eligibility. It should be five and done. You can stop all of this grey area and say, “You have five years to play.” Now, you could protest the injuries. Now, you can do a true redshirt and play four. It keeps it consistent at least, as far as the transfer rule, I like that one. Maybe if your head coach leaves, you can leave. A lot of coaches would agree with that.
