I now have tickets for both Tom Petty and U2. Sweet!

I've never done a concert there, how do they handle parking? I didn't see parking passes as an option.

For the old farts, just announced Foreigner, Cheap Trick and Jason Bonham at the Woodlands in August.

FWIW: buddy just spent $329/ticket (inclusive of fees and taxes) for U2 Houston.

Willie Nelson and ZZ Top at the Rodeo

Picked up 4 for U2 in Dallas. Saw the $280/ticket ones and laughed.

Gonna be in London in a few weeks. I think I'm gonna go see Black Sabbath.

Yeh...I tried that actually. It's now Saying "Unable to Process Request" for any ticket selection I make....

It worked the first time I did it but was giving me nosebleed seats only in the 400s....

Might be sold out on the presale - maybe it was limited quantities.

The only U2 presale in seeing for Dallas is 400's. Although it's 2nd row, they are TERRIBLE seats for a concert. Hoping they release more soon.

Codes are specific and tied to a fan club members account. Nobody can give you their code unless they are not using it to buy tickets.

That was for the fan club presale this morning -- there's a Cowboys Stadium presale going on right now, and 99% of the time it's a generic code.

Found it -- it's 'band' for anyone interested.

The presale is not what was offered today. You go to the page and select "got offer code?" And left the Presale Ticket Option to default. Once you put your code in it defaulted to the "Wires Group" presale, "Ref Hill Group" was yesterday and no idea what the bottom option was for just "presale". If you selected a presale ticket option and then put your code in, it gave me an error. I had no problem getting tixs and they're pretty decent. 4 on the aisle.

I did join the club on Monday, but didn't buy $280 tickets. I still don't see parking passes for NRG.

The regular presale that was at noon was for AT&T Stadium/Cowboys Season Ticket Holders (generic - 'band' -- you can still use it).

it's not u2 or petty, but going to see seinfeld at winstar this summer.

Ah, gotcha.

It was only giving $280 and up earlier. Keep searching. Finally $70 GA popped up. They keep dropping extra tix at random times. Don't get sucked in to buying the $300 if you don't want them, just keep searching.

Is that GA as in General Admission? Free to roam the floor for $70?

Metallica tour announcement in Jan 23. Doing stadiums for this leg of the tour. Saw them last month at a club show and it was incredible. Kirk said on the Eddie Trunk podcast that A7X will be special guests at some shows.

This quarter I've got tix for Avett Bros and will probably grab Lumineers.

I'll probably pony up the cash for Metallica. Saw them in 1996 outside Dallas at Lollapalooza and in 1997 in Houston. Bout time to see them again!

I'm going to the show in Nashville. I got to see NKOTB twice when I was in junior high (Nashville and Murfreesboro) and can't wait to see them again. The songs are so cheesy but I don't care.

Iron Maiden just announced a US tour for summer. Dallas and Houston in June!
