I think she has the kid. The witch said to save life you must take life. I think the spell worked so that with Drago dying New life will be made with the child.

The horse people will think the baby is Drago reincarnated or some **** like that.

If baby dragons do hatch I hope she has to breast feed them.

If not my wife is going to eventually catch on why I keep rewatching certain episodes.

Wow.

I have the book but haven't read it yet. I keep trying to figure out the passage of time up to this point.

How long has this taken in Westoros time? Months I would assume, since Dany is just now giving birth.

How long does it take for a raven to get around? Obviously there are great distances being covered. Just small details, but fun to ponder.

I think I remember reading Westeros is supposed to be roughly the same size of South America. So when you see the distances traveled you can kind of gauge how long it must have taken to move that far.

South America?? I was picturing more along the lines of the UK.

And a second to the poster who commented about the music, so good. And available on iTunes as of today.

If you scroll down to the "Notes" section of the wiki it says the author imagined Westeros as being roughly the size of S. America (Not sure I'd read the rest of the wiki tho, prob spoilers aplenty in there)

I wonder if Dany is going to set that witch tent on fire and then emerge from the flames untouched or damage and regain the Dothraki's loyalty with her dragoness.

Don’t know, but after the one carrying the message got shot down in the last episode, I turned to my wife and said “old school email hack”. HA! Get it? It’s funny.

Great show so far, non-book reader but I think its kind of obvious what's about to happen here, at least this is what I hope happens.

baby born, dragons hatched, dany continues her rise to horsepriestess badass and sets sail for westeros with the horde.

some bullcrap goes down at the wall, some threat from the north emerges.

Robb marching on the Lannisters, two powerful families that will suck the rest of the nation into choosing sides.

All comes together for what will be a year worth of painful waiting to witness a epically cutthroat and twisted war across the whole land during season 2.

No way the Starks beat the Lannisters without some help. Enter Danys the Dragon Lady and her Dothraki horde. They join forces, the Lannisters are surrounded and defeated, then they split the 7 kingdoms in half (north for the Starks, south for Danys.

In the alternative, the Starks and Lannisters team up to fight off the Dragon horde, then fight it out after they repel the invasion.

Those are the only real choices, here.

Because the heir of the Dragons will be cool with splitting her fathers kingdom in half.....she wants it all.

yeah I think all out war is much more likely, maybe a new contender arises next season as well.

My one complaint about the show is that we spend 10 minutes with Robert describing his first kill early and then this episode is paced like a 100m dash. Would like to watch the battles as well but I'll gladly forego them to keep the budget low enough that the series continues.

Can't wait to see what is in store next week.

I wish they had the $$ to make this in 20 episodes instead of 10, but since they don't... they have to establish characters first, and then get down to brass tacks with the plot. And I think they've done a great job of it

I can definitely see Dany returning as Savior of the realm. Winter is coming with a ****load of white walkers that can only be killed by fire. Sure would be nice to have some flying fire breathing dragons around to beat them back hmmm?
riley290
How long do you want to ignore this user?
nice, didn't even think about that. such a vast story.

Are there lions on the continent? All of the sigils seem to be of creatures that are around (kraken, maybe not either), wondering if we'll get to see a crazy lion/direwolf standoff.

ya'll have forgotten about the King's brother! Characters just don't get introduced for nothing.... Somehow he is going to inject himself as the rightful heir to the throne and I would bet a day's pay he goes after Jeoffry and kills him.

Danni is going to have her baby killed by going in that tent... life for a life... but then you have some zombie Drogo to deal with and I bet that doesn't go too well. My guess is he's going to be visibly "off" and the rest of the Dothraki don't follow him or Danni and all hell breaks loose over there. Somehow, Danni is going to find a way to hatch those eggs and then I bet the horde calls her their leader.

I think Jamie Lannister is a gonner, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Ned's wife off him.

About 3 or 4 episodes ago some people, either Drogo, Danny or dannies body guard, said something about fulfilling the prophet of a dothrakie sitting on the Iron throne???

Anyone remember that or what exactly was said?
riley290
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I think the prophecy was about uniting all of the horse tribes under one banner.

Didn't Dany's dad burn Ned's brother, father, and do something to kill his sister?

Doesn't sound like a good match for the Starks. Way different than marrying ugly kids.

She refused vengeful death against Tyrion and even shielded him, the presumed murderer of her son.

The problem for the Starks is that Jeffroy is legally Stagg. The Robert's siblings are under the King, unless Littlefinger betrays the Lannisters and spills the beans to the Staggs in order to protect/save/advance Ned's wife.

Tyrian was a completely different situation. You could tell when Tyrian began asking why someone would have a killer use his own blade to leave no doubt it was him who ordered the crime that Kat began to question herself. She knows he's not an idiot. I think she simply 'wanted' him to be responsible so she could have justice like any mother would. She knew she had no evidence and that was why she tried to shield Jim from her BSC sister as much as possible. If Tyrian wasn't responsible then she knew one of the other Lannisters was which meant he could at least be used as leverage. Without Kat, he would have gone flying off the castle like the teet sucker wanted.

With Jaime, there is no question. He has been pillaging and murdering across her homeland and his nephew(son), or in her eyes the queen, just had her husbands head chopped while she holds her daughters captive. She mad. He dead.

I just don't believe they would kill Jaime. What Joffrey did in killing Ned was complete stupidity, and I just doubt Robb would be stupid enough to kill him, Jaime is far too valuable alive. Plus, Sansa and Arya are still in King's Landing, so I doubt Robb would want to risk their lives. A more likely scenario is keeping him around, like a symbol of the Stark's power, much like what Cersei wanted to do with Ned. And I really like the idea of maiming him in order to keep him from ever retaliating.

O shoot, didn't Ned write a letter to Robert's brother, Stannis, presumably telling him about Joffrey's illegitimacy?

I have a feeling this season ends with a big Stark v Lannister confrontation, and next season begins with the invasion of Stannis, followed later by Danys, and some adventurous exploration by Snow north of the wall. Doubt the White Walkers strike south for at least 2-3 more seasons.

edit: if i had to predict the ep 10 outcome I'd say Jaime's mutilated and the starks are routed, but not all captured. Setting us up for some northern guerrilla war with Robb next season while the Lannister's main forces face Stannis and / or Danys

im gonna say it ends with the killing of Jammie and it officially being on as a kingdom in war which we will have to wait for season 2 to witness. And Dany will do something along the lines of getting ready to prepare to go back home with her new dragons, baby or army or whatever.

All it takes for the story to get out is for bran to get his memory back. Once he tells everyone what he saw before being pushed out the window it should be fairly easy for everyone else to put two and two together regarding the new 'king.'

Is that recurring dream Bran has with following the three-eyed raven into a dungeon about the Lannisters secret? Ravens are messengers and he seems to be chasing it in his dreams.

I have not read the books but that sounds pretty spot on. Especially since he has no memory of who pushed him out of the window and that the twins are doing it incest style.
