adjust your DVRs - the bush speech will probably push it back by 15-20 min.

Will they show it in its entirety?

Random thought:

Has anyone ever considered the possibility of Karen taking over Jan/Ryan's old job?

It could probably do more for the currently dead Jim-Pam story.

That isn't Michael's boss though, it is just another branch manager. Currently, who has Ryan and Jan's old job? Have they really said?

I was under the impression that David Wallace was his boss (as in he's covering the position since Ryan left it)

Wallace is the CFO. Scott is a regional manager. Whoever fills the position between them has not been specified. It could very well be that the position is empty and Wallace is doing it himself because he considers managing Michael a difficult project he doesn't trust anyone else to do (the last two to try failed). The fact that Wallace attended CrimeAid and assigned Scott the trip to Canada lends credibility to this idea.

NBC's schedule will be smaller next season, but there will still be room for " The Office," "30 Rock" and "The Biggest Loser" in the post- Jay Leno world.

The network announced Thursday (Jan. 15) at the TCA press tour that it's picking up all three shows for the 2009-10 season.

Renewed for season 6 next year.

Idris Elba (Stringer Bell) is taking over that job in a few weeks. Seriously.

i wonder if he's going to be using the native british accent? or if he's going to use an american one.

could make for good funnies watching micheal react to a black guy with a british accent.

The last 2 episodes have been pretty sad to me.

It was funny. Jim/Pam is dead - long live Dwight, one of the funniest characters ever on tv.

Last night episode wasn't overally funny but it did establish some strong plot points. The Office does that occasionally.

Eh I thought last night was still a decent episode...the beginning when they are racing to see who can clock the fastest speed was great! Usually Ive noticed the obscure things they have in the opening bit is the best part of the episode lately.

When Merideth said something about how she'd had two guys fight over her, but it was usually who GETS to hold the camcorder, I just lost it.

THAT was funny!

Lots of comedy opportunity there. Michael is always putting his foot in his mouth with Darryl or Stanley when they do or say something that doesn't fit his mold of a stereotypical black man, he won't know how to handle a black man with a British accent.

Last night's episode was odd, to say the least. I appreciated Wallace bringing Michael in to discuss "how he's doing it" (when Michael didn't even know what "discuss big picture stuff" meant), and then readily admitting he was throwing up a Hail Mary by hoping to get useful advice from Michael.

I also liked Dwight and Michael discussing how Angela was in bed as Jim is trying to stop them. I had to watch that three times, because the two of them are having one conversation at the same time Jim is trying to have a conversation with him. Quality writing there.

My favorite line was Dwight's "Rule #17: never turn your back on a bear, a man you have wronged, or the dominant turkey during mating season."

not a great episode, but the Meredith comment was funny as was Creed saying your welcome when Andy thanked them for not replying to the wedding invites. Gotta love Creed and his one-liners now and then...

i still find episodes where jim plays pranks on dwight the funniest. the stapler in the jello and dwight's belongings in the vending machine were AWESOME.

I went back and watched it with the Closed Captioning on so that I could get all their exchange. It was brilliant!

Creed is the best character on the show. Jim is getting kinda annoying.

Did anyone notice that Dwight had a spoon taped on his monitor so he could see Andy behind him? I caught that and thought it was hilarious!
xhippieliberalx
How long do you want to ignore this user?
it was kinda hard to miss the spoon considering a whole 30 seconds of the show was dedicated to him trying to watch out for andy, and he said he needed a soup spoon.

You must have missed the scene when he
Stole the soon from jim and taped it and said, "I need a soup soon.
