I liked how everyone was rooting for Toby & Michael to punch each other.

And Dwight bringing up The Shield and planting evidence was classic.

It's called loyalty. Our football team sucks, but you still support them anyway out of loyalty, right? I had hoped things would turn out differently this season. They didn't. I still find it funny and will tune in, but the quality is going down episode by episode. I only wish it would have gone out with a bang, not a watered-down version of its former self.

I just take my favorite shows too seriously. You like it, I don't. Nothing I could say will change your mind and nothing you could say will change mine.

hilarious episode tonight. Michael screaming "no God, no" in Toby's face had me laughing so hard.

2 differences:

1) Search my posts. You won't find any *****ing on the football board, because if things don't entertain me, I don't watch them.

2) 100% of us agree our football team sucks. 10% of you think irrationally think The Office sucks and is suddenly on par with "2.5 Men" and "Worst Week".

I didn't think it was quite as bad as you did, but it was a weak episode, IMHO.

There were some funny parts..with the best being Michael screaming "NO" when Toby returned...but overall, I agree it was kind of weak...I am so sick of the serious Jim and Pam...

Michael paid $500 for 2 pounds of weed that turned out to be a tiny ass little salad

Ryan is going to Thailand and wants sex and money from Kelly

Creed wanting to throw 'things' in the quarry with jim.

He breaks into Tiffany's at midnight to steal the chandelier (he goes for it, not the vault, because the chandelier is priceless). He is stopped by Tiffany, the owner's daughter. They make love all night, then he escapes in the morning dressed as one of the cops. He tells her to meet him in Mexico, but he goes to Canada because he doesn't trust her. Also he likes the cold. 30 years later he gets a postcard in which she tells him they have a son, who is now the chief of police. He tells her to meet him in Paris by the Trocadero. She's been waiting all these years, never taking another lover. He doesn't meet her, though. He instead goes to Berlin, which is where he had stashed the chandelier.

I liked in the punching scene when Ryan says "Yeah punch him!" and Michael & Dwight get offended. "Whose side are you on???" Classic.

Probably my favorite episode.

I always crack up at the end when they're in the hospital and Michael is filling out the form for Dwight.

Michael: "Reason for coming to the hospital?"
Jim: "Concussion?
Then Michael scratching out his previous answer..."taking someone to the hospital"

Last night was the weakest episode since the season opener IMO.

It's been pretty hit and miss this year.

The funniest part was Creed freaking out when the cops arrived.

And then Dwight's "perfect crime" at the end was so bizarrely hilarious that I watched it, and then immediately rewound and watched it again.

these three things alone made it a great episode, I laughed out loud when Michael was screaming like that..

Also, I've seeen every episode (although some not in a while) and maybe I'm just losing my edge, but have they every explained why Michael hates Tobey so much? Or has it just always been there...

Just generally because Toby is HR and Michael thinks HR is out to spoil the fun he tries to inject into the workplace.

The best office line of all time:

"Toby is in HR, which is Corporate. So, he's not really a part of our family. Plus, he's divorced, so he's not really a part of his family either."

Most of you probably suck in life, that's why you can't take it for what it is and enjoy the big picture.

Agreed. It's probably my favorite....

"I love Michaels explanation of how it happened.
I enjoy having breakfast in bed. I like waking up to the smell of bacon. Sue me. And since I don't have a butler I have to do it myself... so, most nights before I go to bed I will lay out 6 strips of bacon out on my foreman grill. Then I go to sleep. When I wake up I plug in the grill. I go back to sleep again, then I wake up to the smell of crackling bacon. It is delicious, it's good for me, it's a perfect way to start the day. Today I got up, I stepped on to the grill and it clamped on to my foot. That's it. I don't see what's so hard to believe about that."

I fell into that as the last season of Seinfeld aired. I b****** about it not measuring up to earlier season incessantly. Now I watch some of those episodes and think they are hilarious.

I'm trying not too do that with the office. I laughed quite a bit last night.

Michael hates Toby because of two reasons: first, like Worm01 said, Toby's role as HR rep means he spends half his time spoiling what Michael thinks to be good fun (like the banning of sending inappropriate emails). Second, Toby isn't even under Michael's oversight, he reports directly to corporate and knows stuff before Michael does. When Jan came in and told Michael that the branch was closing ("Branch Closing", Toby revealed that Jan told him first, causing Michael to brand him a traitor.

"The Injury" is definitely one of the top episodes of all time.

Wow, I had never considered "The Injury" to be the best Office episode of all time. I don't even register it when thinking of said episodes.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
but there are so many great things about that episode. Michael's foot wrapped in bubble wrap, taking Meredith's car and finding liquor bottles, Dwight stealing the "that's what she said" line at the hospital.

The car crash scene is probably one of the funniest things ever on this show.
