I also like the scene when everyone is kissing up to Michael, laughing at his jokes, giving him high fives, Pam commenting on his ass, etc was great. That was Michael's dream office.

My favorite parts were the "I'll be six!" line, everything having to do with Schrute farms (esp. Mose), and "there's that ass!"
I think this might have been the funniest episode of the season so far.
As far as subplots go, what does everyone think will happen with Andy/Angela/Dwight. I know Dwight was dumb for making the marriage happen, and Angela made a point of going and kissing Andy, but she DID still say that she knew she'd made a mistake... So any predictions on how this is going to go down? I don't know if the Office would go the route of Dwight disrupting the wedding and/or Angela running away at the altar.

No matter what, I think they are setting up for Andy to blow up completely and possibly no longer work in the office...I can't see Dwight/Angela getting married and Andy just staying on board.
I agree. It seems like they're heading down that path, but I hope they keep Andy on. He's growing into one of my favorite characters.
I don't know, Andy is pretty dense. He might stay on even if Dwight & Angela end up back together. I sure hope so at least.

Andy walking into the room oblivious, then playing his sitar was perfect. The absolute best, most awkard situation ever on the show.
What a perfect episode for the cat to come out of the bag hahaha...THE CHRISTMAS EPISODE
This show does Christmas like no other. "Christmas Party" in season 2 was the turning point of where the show became successful, "A Benihana Christmas" is a favorite of mine, and tonite was no exception. (Damn you writers' strike for robbing us of a S4 christmas).

Did anyone else sense an impending Meredith-attempting-to-give-road-head when in the car with Michael? Obviously NBC couldn't have gotten away with it but I thought somehow, someway it was coming.
I didn't find the rehab humor with Meridith funny at all. Sad. Other than that, it was funny.

I think they've backed off the Jim/Pam angle because they're combing Andy to replace Michael if Steve Carrell ever leaves. Tonight, he had a long pointless monologue "They called me Puke/Ace/Buzz" and the awkwardest moment of the entire show.

The Deposition. When Jan gets Michael to testify in her wrongfull firing case.
Enjoyed it overall, but agree with Rudy that the rehab scene was unpleasant & out of place.

Absolutely a GREAT episode of The Office last night... I forgot what it was like to laugh that hard at that show. Wow. Greatness!
I'm sorry, but that was one of the weaker episodes of the season. The opening was funny, but then the whole first segment was pointless and unfunny. Then the entire Meredith plotline was retarded. She is the least funny of all the secondary characters, and they focused like 10 minutes on her.
The Angela/Phyllis/Andy stuff was good though.

the ipod Christmas show aired the other day on TBS. Now if you compare those shows with this season you'll know why this season has been a real downer. It's still a great show compared to others, but is crap compared to the way this show use to be.
Andy went from one of my least favorite characters to my favorite.

I agree about Andy. He went from an afterthought to someone that is critical to the show. I HATED the new look Phyliss with the attitude.

While the whole Toby buying the doll thing was easily predictable (with the one Darrell bought being the last one), I was more than pleasantly surprised when the doll turned out to be of African-American descent. I mean of course it was, right?

New-look Phyllis should be gone now that she doesn't have leverage over Angela any more.
If you are so serious about everything to be depressed by The Office then...well...I don't know what to tell you.
Parts weren't funny, and they were really sad. I'm not sure how that has to do with being serious.
