I would love to see them do some episode where they show what Creed does when he leaves the office everyday.

Maybe its better to have it left to the imagination though.

Based on what he told Jim a few episodes ago he likes throwing stuff into the quarry near Jim's new(parent's old) house.

In the Schrute family we believe in a five-fingered intervention. [showing fist] Awareness. Education. Control. Acceptance. And punching. [/Dwight Schrute]

Did anyone else sense an impending Meredith-attempting-to-give-road-head when in the car with Michael? Obviously NBC couldn't have gotten away with it but I thought somehow, someway it was coming.

I was thinking the same thing...

Another below average episode. Sorry.

Loved the opening scene and Michael hitting Toby in the head with the pen though.

Andy has been a favorite of mine since he moved to Scranton. Great stuff from him week after week.

And wow, the Pam/Jim duo haven't delivered yet this season.

I thought it was pretty funny in parts, but I didn't like the Meredith-Rehab thing. It was funny with the hair on fire, but they should've just brushed by that and had more party hijinks

I love Creed.

and the 5 point Shrute statement - great.

the ipod Christmas show aired the other day on TBS. Now if you compare those shows with this season you'll know why this season has been a real downer. It's still a great show compared to others, but is crap compared to the way this show use to be.

I think it's simply the "sequel mentality" that crops up. I think the season has been great...and of course I have things in my mind that would make it better...but I can't complain about the direction too much.

Things about the episode that I found were just as good as the "good ole days":

-Dwight's "5 step"
-Creeds random comments
-Jim's wrapping of the desk
-Pen at Toby's head
-Genius of the white guy and the racial doll (I was rolling at the "is there something wrong with the doll?". The fact that is plays into Toby's "I never win" demeanor was awesome.
-I didn't like the rehab part...but the last line about "like I did to Jan" was great.
-A holiday party in which Phyillis intentionally (imo) picked a non-Christian theme to piss off Angela
-Andy's constant retardedness with the sitar.

I do have to say that the rehab things wasn't that funny. I think that knowing alcoholics does that to someone.

I didn't like the rehab thing but when Miachel said he had to "make a deposit" while dragging Meredith into the facility, it almost made it worth the nonsense.

Jim's pranks have always been my favorite part. I think one of the best ever is when he put Andy's phone above the ceiling tiles. Hahaha!

I Tivo all the TBS episodes and I watch all the new, and I think the show is still great. The old ones were genius, and still get me no matter how many times I watch. The new ones are slighty more tame, but still funnier than most anything else on TV.

The Office's post-Super Bowl episode just scored the equivalent of a touchdown with a two-point conversion: Jack Black has signed on to guest star in the hour-long episode, sources confirm to me exclusively.

The hitcom's producers are keeping the specifics of Black's stint under lock and key, but a just-released NBC press release says this of his role: "Some of the office workers try to secretly watch a bootlegged Hollywood movie during the workday. The movie stars Jack Black and other notable Hollywood actors."

Jessica Alba's doing the ep, too!
An NBC insider has confirmed for me exclusively that the erstwhile Dark Angel is joining Black in the cast of the bootlegged movie the Dunder Mifflin staff try to watch during the workday.

The whole taking Merideth to Rehab plotline was absolutely terrible. There were funny parts in this episode, but overall it was a major disappointment. This is one of my favorite shows, but it pains me to say that this has been a noticably weak season.

I just started watching The Office this summer....The only other new shows on TV that I watch are Southpark, Entourage and Curb....So to answer your question, no, I don't really watch TV outside of sports (with is about 90%), HBO/CC shows and The Office.

This may be a stupid question, but does Jim do the voiceover in the Verizon Blackberry commercial?

If not, it sounds a lot like him.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I always thought that too. I actually just googled it before getting on Texags. While I didn't find anything for certain, I found office fan sites talking about it. I definately think it is him.
