nationwide has re-instated their intro offer of first 1 oz gold coin at spot with no shipping or credit card fees. just ordered it and had a prompt call for the payment.

Speaking of Gold Eagles if any folk are looking at Gold right now. Probably the best price that you're going to find. LIMIT one though.

I bought on this special and wanted to point out that the price is the same regardless of whether you use a CC vs echeck/wire

Check out the bottom two snags I got on eBay this morning.. The fruits of doing a really deep dive on old listings and finding things that somehow slipped through the cracks.

The seller has been active since 1999 and has 700+ positive feedback, so not likely a scam. This is almost half off pricing on those two. Amazing.

Incredible finds! I was perusing some online dealers, and the best I could find on 90% is $27 per $1 of coins. I'm simply not paying that when I can get a 1 oz silver round for $27.50

Your above deal was a decent deal but this one borderline no
.1808 troy ounce in a quarter. Silver 23.42
40 @.1808 @23.42. 168.00

Circulated so in stead of asking for how many ask him for the weight with a picture
If circulated and lost 5/10 percent now your at 155/160 plus shipping
As I have said before I am not a speculator I am a coin collector but if silver drops to 22or lower you are already upside down

If you are buying to have silver quarters go for it

19x face delivered on circulated junk is a good deal all day long.

Constitutional brings inherit value above spot.

So are premiums on fractional gold "too high" should I save my scratch and just buy in full ounces or buy fractional with more regularity?

Here is my philosophy
If you are buying to sell someday do what you fell comfortable with people will buy small and large amounts but most buyers will buy from you because you would have small amounts that they could afford

If shtf which i really dont ever see this happening but would it be better to have one ounce of gold or 10 1/10 ounce for groceries ,lead, gas

There will be others with their view

Any thoughts to why gold and silver prices havent increased like everything else in the past 12 months? I'm not complaining because I'm still in the accumulation phase.

Naked shorts all over the place. Silver has the largest short position on earth. Physical metal has nothing to do with the price. As we saw for about 6-8 months, the demand for the physical had never been higher. The supply was unbelievably low. Sovereign mints were running out of metal. At the same time banks and institutions were shorting the metal in the paper markets. Until we see companies going long and taking possession of the metal instead of taking cash settlements, silver will never go up like we all want. BUT the days that all happens… I truly believe silver will go up $50-100 in a single day.

For as much as I have stacked, it's surprising that I currently do not own any ASE's. I never liked the premiums on them. With todays dip, I went ahead and pulled triggers on a few. Monument has them for a shade over $29 as I type this.. figured now was a good time to start a small collection of them.

ASE premiums are rough but worth it. Nothing better in my opinion.
