You take a guy washing cars at 22-23... someone nobody was interested in, and in a couple years turn into Cy Young?!
Astros signed Framber for $10K at age 21... and in 3 years turn him into a MLB SP.
And yet, the Astros can't do that with American kids who have thrown a baseball for 10+ years?!
The Rangers have never had a good track record developing pitching... much has been said about pitching in the heat in July/August outdoors... as well as the original design of RBiA for hitters.
We'll see if the new enclosure and design helps SP down the line. Maybe we should focus our future on adult SPs from DR.
