Last night was a blowout until we couldn't handle the press they started doing about halfway through the 4th. I was torn...do I want to see them win or do I want to see growth? Close losses would be nice I guess.

For as much fun as the 3rd quarter was, the 4th was the total opposite. They are really good when they can run and gun, but man do they struggle slowing it down and trying to execute in the half court. It's a good win for the young squad and they have plenty they can learn and take away from it.
Through 4 games, the Spurs are on pace for a casual 62 win season.

Their shots stopped falling as well. Plenty of open looks, but going 2:30 minutes without a basket rattled them. If they had made just a few of the shots they missed during the worst of that run, the Wolves would have pulled the starters and the game would have ended as a 20 point win.
I hope they learned something from that 4th quarter. It was both really ugly, and a great chance to be reminded that other teams are probably more gifted and these dudes nude to bust their ass every minute.
This team will lose a lot of close games but they'll be fun to watch for 3 quarters every night.
