Matsui, I watched the same highlights this morning. It was hilarious. Shot after shot of GS. Curry, Lee, Curry, Thompson then all of a sudden the game is over and the Spurs won. Hilarious.

nba.com is much better for highlights.

Watching Danny Green has really been frustrating this year. I love Marco coming off of the bench but wonder if he would make our 1st unit better.

Danny has certainly been struggling and Marco is playing great but I don't think moving him into the SL would be the solution. Danny is also playing good defense and that shouldn't be overlooked. He made a lot of good plays defensively last night.

Belinelli plays really well with Manu and the second unit and moving him into the SL would just take away even more opportunities for Leonard to get the ball and that's something the Spurs need to focus on doing more ( Getting Kawhi more touches).

Just like we used Manu on the bench for so many years we'll keep Marco on the bench. He's lighting up the opposition and makes the second unit great with Mills and Manu.

So much better than Neal it isn't even funny. He actually put effort in the defensive side of the court and is just as good, if not better at shooting the three ball.

Low sample size but his three-point shooting eclipses Neal's (for the Spurs anwyays). The one thing that Neal could do is create his own offense with an array of different shots. But I don't really think we need that.

Belinelli can handle the ball better, is an infinitely better passer, and is capable of running a little pick and roll. Neal was a fantastic find out of no where, but Marco is much better for the same role.

Neal couldn't dribble 5 feet without turning it over. That was his biggest weakness.

Neal could create enough space to get a jumper off, but he wasn't taking anyone to the rack, much less gonna finish when he got there.

Neal could get a shot off and be fairly effective at it but don't fool yourself into thinking Marco can't. Marco can create a shot for himself as well he just doesn't because he knows he can find a better shot elsewhere. Neal was a ball stopper who would retreat to shooting up a low percentage shot because he couldn't do anything else with the ball. Neal was decent at making those tough shots and that's a credit to him but the Spurs don't miss those shots at all. Especially in an offense that is based on ball movement and "good to great".

Marco's BBIQ is off the chart and almost always makes the right play.

Well, I guess I should stop posting on the Rockets thread. Pointing out their own hypocrisy by calling me out for complaining about refs during the Rockets/Spurs game and then their own ref complaints last night means I need to get a life.

I think the Spurs need to try some Duncan and Diaw lineups so they can pull Ibaka out of the paint. Splitter makes it too easy for them to jam the middle.

Yep. Pop runs Duncan and Diaw and the paint opens up. Just need to be a little less sloppy on offense, but they can win this game.

I don't think Adams has been that much of a surprise. He was projected to go right where he did (low lottery pick), and so far has been good at the things people expected.

Diaw has a little Shane Battier in him. He can reduce the effectiveness of a lot of players he shouldn't be able to.
