HOU is the only team in the West SA has not met in the playoffs in the Duncan era. Would be a great series!
I'll be at the game in Indy on Monday. What do you think are the chances of the big guns not playing?

50/50? It's not part of the back to backs that flank that game so maybe he plays everyone just to see how different lineups fair against a potential finals opponent?

Green has about 23 days or so to recover before the first round tips off. Unless the Spurs draw Memphis or Golden State, they probably won't need him that series anyway. So he's probably got over a month to heal & sharpen up for a playoff run.
Hopefully the bench can pull out a huge win in Denver, and then let the starters fight off New Orleans at home. If the Spurs can push the streak to 17, they can probably shut the starters down for 4 of those last 9 games and still be fine for the #1 seed.
OKC, LAC, & IND will probably shut down their best players for a few games as well, so I doubt anyone does a whole lot of catching up unless the Spurs start losing most their games they play at full strength.

Houston losing Patrick Beverly for the year is a huge loss for them and changes a lot out West. It now pushes Lin into the SL where he's been very inconsistent his entire career.
Definitely huge news in a potential Spurs/Rockets series as well. Beverly was definitely their best option to put on Parker.

Is it confirmed he's out for the season? Usually a meniscus is not that long of an injury.
Not confirmed out for the season. It is I guess possible he would be back for y'all's series, but I worry about a 1st round matchup of Lin guarding Lillard or Curry

Jose Calderon is the least scary PG of the potential West playoff teams, and Lin would still get dominated.

I doubt he returns at all. Wouldn't be a very wise move on his part. Even if he does run that risk there's no way he can regain form and confidence in it that quickly.
Second round starts around beginning may. He could be back by then, but even if he is, it'd be doubtful that he'd be back at full strength. Especially if he's got to chase Parker.
Of course, him injured has got to at least be the equivalent of Lin's defense.

I'm not able to watch tonight, but Duncan is off to a good start with 8 of the Spurs 10 points.
Duncan now #4 on the All-time list of games played with one team.

Apparently Anthony Davis hurt his ankle tonight. Would be huge if he isn't able to go tomorrow for New Orleans. They have been playing well lately and are nobody to look over if Davis is good to go.
I expected the Spurs to drop this one tonight. I was obviously very wrong.

This. He's been great in this end of the bench role. Way better than what Nando was giving us.
Just need to stay focused and take care of NO, with or without Davis, and get to 17 straight.
Marco with 6 3-pointers wasn't bad either.
