There's still 20 games left to play in the season, but we can start looking ahead to some potential first round match ups.
Obviously, being the first seed (and having the overall best record) would be ideal, but not sliding to #3 is most important IMO because it avoids a first round matchup with Golden State.
Dallas and Phoenix are the most ideal first round opponents for the Spurs because they're both completely helpless against the pick and roll.
Memphis is the opponent I would want to see the least in the first round. They really struggle to score, but they still play tough D and can pound it down low with Gasol and ZBo. I'm not worried about losing that series, but I could see the Grizz stealing a game or two. If the Thunder end up with the 1 seed, I hope they have to face Memphis to hopefully drag it out more than 4 games.
