That's Antony's SECOND assist all season. From a winger.

I do think Antony has a lot of assets. But he needs to either become the finisher he thinks he is or start passing more if he wants to be the de facto right winger on this team.

Typical performance here, lots of opportunities but poor decision making and finishing are keeping Wolves in the game. We need to come out and net 2 early in the 2nd half to put this one to bed. Unfortunately nothing of our recent form gives me any confidence whatsoever that will occur

Well on the plus side we actually scored a goal in the 1st half.

Unfortunately, the 1st half is usually our good half and the 2nd half it all falls apart.

he's made some good saves. but, we have no fluidity to our attack. it's all fits and starts. let's giver everyone just an extra second to get set and ready. that's been a problem for years and years.

Our attack is sub-optimal at the moment (though today was ironically one of our better offensive games even if it was very flawed)...but he's still made some insane saves. Could easily be a 3 or 4 goal performance even with all of our flaws.

go back and rewatch. he sees the ball go in and hangs his shoulders immediately walking the other direction. and i'm going to disagree. i don't think Weghorst has brought anything worthwhile.

He runs his ass off, runs down lost causes, and presses very well. He's not good but he serves a purpose at times.

But I too thought he looked disappointed he didn't get the pass...which is the opposite of what he usually does.

Missed the match for rec soccer.

So Spurs and AVL are officially out of touch for top 4. Obviously Liverpool can still make it but today's win makes it harder. And Brighton can still get to 70 pts with all their games in hand.

Yep though 3 of the 5 games left are against the current top 3. Anything could happen but running the table is highly unlikely.

You pair this with the fact that United now lead the league in clean sheets even with De Gea as their goalie and it seems to prove that ETH is doing some very, very good things...he just needs better players to do them.

He absolutely needs to get better, no doubt, but how much of that is on the finishing too? We've been awful all year. Weghorst, Martial. I mean, do we have any player that knows how to head the damn ball on frame with any type of pace? I recall him creating some pretty solid chances all year and watched it get mucked up by poor finishing in the box. That being said, he had a great breakout today and had he made an earlier pass, probably would have gotten a goal. Instead he waited too long and got it to Martial who couldn't finish

On a per-share basis, the Qatari bid is lower, but the amount of money they get total now is higher because it also buys out Avram and Joel.

In a perfect world, they would take the Qatari bid, then take the money down the street and buy Liverpool.
