Mats I purchased for my car are no longer for sale, but my parents put the 3W mats from Amazon in theirs and they seem to fit reasonably well.

both, really. i don't understand the need for that much productivity during the limited time spent in your vehicle, but i guess depends on your job.

i recognize it's not an equal comparison to make with driving a regular car and being distracted on your cell phone, but i am just not a fan of that level of distraction when in the driver seat even if the car is in control.

Well, have you used FSD?

I have an hour commute one way and it is nice to be able to work while riding in the car.

The game changer for me is able to eat normally. Before I had to watch the road, take a bite, and use steer by Knee. Always seemed rush and fumbling to find stuff unless it was something simple like a sandwich.

Now I can eat a bowl of noodles if I want. FSD drives better than I do and I would bet 99% of drivers b/c almost everyone gets distracted. Why not use tech that is safer than you are.

I have had atleast 1 major incident when I was on one of those 65mph country one lane roads at around 6am/dark. Car slowed down abruptly, I didn't see anything, then a deer jumped by. Who knows if I would have hit it or not but the car reacted way faster than any human.

I feel way safer driving on these roads with FSD on b/c I know the car will always keep center of the lane and not veer which sometimes happen when I drive.

Interesting that that's the official Tesla channel on YouTube. Spacex doesn't stream on YouTube and hasn't for a while have they because musk owns X. I figured it would be the same here.

Eta At least I believe that was the case with SpaceX, even before merger with Xai

I'll be honest. That was cool as hell. But at the same time it seems pretty gimmicky and of relatively limited usefulness in real world situations unless it can go airborne for longer than what they showed.

Plan on putting 5K down for one. So is the price for the Thruster 250K and base 50K? Base seems cheap but I assume 0-60 won't be under 1 sec?

I do want the thruster but how is that even street legal? I would love to see the specs on performance vs thruster, range, 0-60, etc

50K on their website for the performance seems cheap for the base model

It is 5k now, 45K for reservation. I am not sure if this is the final price or not. Hard to put a reservation without knowing the final price.

I am prob wrong that this is the final price given the specs.
