Off topic, but it's under discussed how massive autonomous electric trucking would be economically. Validation for semi starting to become apparent.

FSD on Semi would be a game changer. I have driven 6 hrs+ on FSD and never felt tired.

I hear the cost per mile is around 25% of Diesel. Add on much lower maintenance and it is a no brainer.

But will they wait until they see you coming alongside while you are going full speed and going uphill to decide to jump into the left lane in front of you so they can pass an even slower semi...? Because that better be included in the programing. We don't want to have Elon ruin our road trip driving experience, right...?

Less than half per mile. Diesel is $5.60/gal. Trucks get around 8 mpg. Semi uses 1.75 kWh/mile.

Randomly saw this guy's post on X yesterday about his Tesla almost driving off the sixth floor of a parking garage somehwere. Didn't realize he was in College Station until coincidentally just seeing this follow up post of his. Wild.
