I have mixed emotions about it, I'd rather spend money on #RACETRUCK so I've contemplated selling but everyone who has had one tell me that they miss it.

Perhaps I'll get it in good running condition and then make it look good. I'd like to see it slammed static but these fat 275's look awesome under the front end lol

They're good trucks. I do miss it. It was fairly reliable and easy to fix when stuff went wrong, unlike my wife's piece of crap.

Picked up a dent free hood

Got this side done, found 2 miniscule dings on the top of the hood. Time to try my hand at bondo.

Welp spent the day working on the hood, sanded it down (few spots down to bare metal). Applied body filler in two spots, it wasn't TOO hard to put it on and so far it's looking good but it does suck to do. Etched primed and now applying filler primer. I understand the hate people have for body work now. Time will tell the quality of my work. Other than buying a sander/sand paper I figure I have about $100 into this little hood project.

Over the break there are a few things I'll be doing including putting my system back in and replacing header gaskets and bolts

Beatin down the block, giving the streets an ass whoopin.

OEM MLS gaskets are allsome, no exhaust leakage at all.

As I near graduation I realize I must be more responsible fiscally, but I keep finding/remembering all the sweet sh*t I want such as; a locker, good tune, and some fly ass wheels.

Wheels/tires are out of the question, I can't be dropping $2,000 right now even if I had it. These are the current wheels of choice, in 17x8.5 or 18x9.

at least you keep working on yours! My LS swap just sits in the garage. Once I got a 2014 Silverado, I havent cared as much about the 5.3L in my jeep.

Just dropped the ass end, wanted to do 1" but that setting on the shackle wasn't working. 2" gave me no problems, ass end is about .5" lower, axle is .25" from bumpstops, and my shocks are damn near at 90°.

Stock shackles will go back on till I can at least cut off the bumpstops, fix shock angle, and then I'll get 1" shackles

After a tad bit of research, it seems common that guys need to notch the shackle in order to run at the 1" setting. Guess I'll do that when I have the time.
