I figured I'll do a little update.
Here's the engine as of now


I've just been stocking up on parts needed for the swap, I don't need much more. So far what I need
-PCM from Nelson Performance
-E Fan harness from Nelson Performance
-Get my headers ceramic coated
-A small y pipe
-Maybe 2 Thunderbolt cats if I can't retain my current cat.
-Just small odds and ends such as a few accessory bolts, and radiator hoses.
-Lastly I'll have a exhaust shop bend me a y pipe.

So far I've spent $2,065.25 so I believe the total cost will be at or right under $3,000. Once it's Christmas break I have the weekdays off so I should have it done by the beginning of spring semester.

I don't see the direct port nitrous set-up on the intake nor a Maggie bolted onto it.

I bought them off of Ebay for 109.99 shipped, just need to get the harness from Nelson now.

Visions of doing this to the K5... you're going to cost me a lot of money I'm afraid.

If you did a completely stock swap I'm sure you can get away with doing it for $2,000-$2,500.

Yup need the harness also and the 250 takes priority haha

Next time I go home I plan on at least taking what's remaining of the stock harness off, clean the TB, and rip off all that EGR nonsense.

who puts their name on A/C brackets? is that really necessary?

Well he started making them as a small time thing so on all the forums they just called them Josh Power's brackets, he has since opened up a shop called Custom Image Corvettes.

There are a couple of places I've seen them here in Galveston. I bought mine from a t shirt shop between the Radio Shack and Academy on the Seawall and I saw them in another t shirt shop on the Strand a few weeks ago.

They sell them online along with replacement straps, so far I've gone through 1 pair of straps. I wear these Jerusalem cruisers daily

A Plus Auto Parts in Pasadena. No need to haggle, they were trying to get rid of them. When I went they had 22 5.3's to choose from, they knocked off all tax since I paid dat cash moneh.

Got the headers dropped off at 3 Nails Powder Coating for the ceramic coating this morning, thanks to mustang6tee8 for the recommendation.

Much agreed, their customer service played a major role in me choosing a tune from them.

Wheatley charges for retunes and he never replied a couple of my emails.
Blackbear is too far away and it takes them 2 weeks to reply to an email.

Nelson called me Monday to confirm my order, had the PCM tuned the same day, shipped it yesterday, and it was on my doorstep this evening.
