I did hit them up with a wire wheel, so they're smooth but they just don't look like it.

I was given two decals...a pink and a silver.

I screwed up putting on the pink one so I had to put the silver one on

got the last pink one at the Ricekiller meet

I got the second to last lolz

Welp today got the trans hooked up, had a hell of a time pushing the trans up the extra 1"-1.5" or so, then torquing the TC bolts was a total bish, and lastly the dust cover (which took all of 2 minutes to take off) was the biggest bish of all. In the process of putting it back on I bent it all to hell, so to finish the job I just bent that hoe down the middle and threw it.

Tomorrow I'm going to the junkyard for another dust cover and once I have it put on I'll install my headers.

Honestly I'm stuck on it...that's the old wiring harness. I don't want to go in there cutting and pulling out wires that I'll actually need, I have a few marked that I know for a fact I'll need to keep but the majority of wires I won't (I think).

It's really overwhelming on the other side of the engine where all the wires are leading to the fusebox, I'd say at least 80% of the wires on that side are pink (switched power). I'm waiting for someone who has done this swap before to either come help me out or give me a clear answer on what I should/need to do.

Don't really have much more to do, I have about 8 wires to marry into the standalone harness which is other wise all plugged in, then I have the starter to do, figure out how in the hell the a/c bracket gets put on, start hooking up hoses, and from there I'm in the homestretch.

Right now I'm waiting on a driver side battery tray...wasn't able to find one used at any junkyards or online so I had to buy it from gmdirectparts.com

Well the fuel pump isn't getting power so I'm thinking the standalone harness isn't getting power and also the starter isn't engaging with the flywheel

Also the 5.3 is a good bit lighter than the old 350...at the moment the front end sits a tad bit higher than the rear end. Before it had about 1-1.5" of rake

Got the fuel pump powered up and the starter is engaging...she's cranking!

Put in some fresh oil...not sure what's keeping it from running
