They are truly having, at least to this point, a historic season for Astros standards. This team is looking to rival that 98 team that was so good, but ran into that SD team with that juiced pitcher. I still say that 98 team was the best I had watched as an Astros fan, I guess an argument could be made for the 86 team as well. No offense to 2005 team, they were a star ladened team for sure, but those 98 and 86 teams were better.

If it's Musgrove, do they send him down or send him to the bullpen?

If it's Fiers, do they send him to the bullpen or do they release him?

If one of these two end up in the bullpen, who comes off the active roster?

My only complaint about last night was Stanton in the booth. I don't know if he was trying too hard but he's no Blum for sure. He was talking for the sake of talking.

Kalas and Blum are a pretty decent combo. Not Brownie and Dierk but they're pretty good.

He's a former pitcher. Never drove a ball into the alley in his life. So, we get pitcher-speak. He's still better than Ashby.
Kallas, imo, is outstanding at play by play. Best in years.
Blum...hmmm. He could become good. Not yet.

Blummer is the man!

He's insightful but not annoying, entertaining, drops some zingers in there every so often, and works really well with Kalas.

Wasn't always a Blum fam but he's grown on me. Think he's great.
