So I asked dmg04 on reddit (bungie's community guy) and he said there is a raid lair with DLC2 and they'll talk about the prestige mode next week. Not gonna lie direct communication with Bungie feels pretty good.

Yeah. I just tagged him in my comment on the twab post on the destiny subreddit and he responded in 30 minutes.

The prospect of reduced teamshotfests would almost be enough to bring me back for a bit, if I hadn't declined to get the expansion and not played (and thus grinded) since October.

Yep, Me and Daazer tore up the crimson doubles (half true). It seems like they are dumping more loot after matches than normal (most of it still crap gear that you already have). Did get the heart emote and Daazer got the exotic sparrow. The Crimson doubles game mode was actually fun when paired against others at your level or with people not using Uriel's gift.
I played some with my gaming buddy and we had fun but lost more than we won, which isn't that big a surprise. I didn't have issues with Uriel's gift but it seemed like a dude with promethius lens was melting faces big time so I'm going to try that one again. The matches are very fast paced and fun, your non super abilities seem to regenerate super fast.Pac1698 said:

Crap you guys. I decided to work out Monday night instead of playing destiny, and now I'm in the hospital because I've got rhabdomyolysis from working out too hard!

Not even CrossFit! Just a 30 minute group fitness class focused on the core. But I hadn't worked out in 2 months prior, and apparently stressed my body too much.
Thanks doc. They've been flushing me with IV's all day, Just waiting for my CPK levels to get back to normal, and then I can go home. Hopefully in the morning!

I'm down for a leviathan raid early in the week and then the raid lair over the weekend if that works for everyone

I should be able to join the raid group. Are we planning for a "blind" run of the raid lair or can I check out a guide? Daazer should also be able to join.

What I saw of it today looks fun! Short but intense. I got the mechanics, but will still take plenty of practice for a smooth run. I think they said it takes about 1 to 1.5 hours to complete.
I can often play 7-10:30 ish especially if I know in advance. This week I'm going to the Friday night Aggie baseball game but otherwise pretty open. 1.5 hours sounds great, 3+ hours to raid is just too long for me and my marriage to tolerate!Pac1698 said:

Yep, I was raiding this past weekend with the Texags guys and almost ended up in the dog house. There was some failure to communicate with the wife about how long I was going to be raiding.

We've talked before about keeping wife aggro down. We'd much rather have a gaurdian down for a night than to have one lose their light forever...
So, tonight, let's start a regular raid to knock the rust off and then later in the week try out the lair. How late is late, koadie?
