Servers are buggy today boy. I can't count how many times I've been kicked or been instanced into just a black space where I can't open the director.
So apparently the raid encounters are in a randomized order each reset.
Strikes seem pretty pointless this time around. I've done them so few times I'm not even sure I've them all.
Can confirm clan XP issues.. Did all the public events on Titan to get my Milestone, mixed in a patrol or two and no clan XP added. Another day, another Bungie hotfix is likely coming.FightinTexasAg15 said:

Nightfall: Exodus Crash
- Prism (rotating burns - the maintenance yesterday fixed this so the burn stays on screen now)
- Attrition (health and shields regenerate slowly. Enemies have a chance of leaving wells of Light when they die, which fill health and super)
- Timewarp: Anomolies (shoot the anomolies that appear for time increases)
Flashpoint: Titan (Bungie's roadmap said it was going to be Io this week)

This week is pleasure garden (dogs), gauntlet, bath, Calus
Apparently trials is still active, not sure if that's supposed to be or not
Reports of clan xp not being earned correctly, so not able to finish the clan milestone for the week
EDIT -- Suddenly a wild +500 XP appears after running a strike..
i did the strike playlist and got the one on Titan 4 times in a row, then i got the Arms dealer on Earth, but i put me in near the end. I normally wouldn't mind that, but i had never played it before (or since) and would like to have heard all of the dialogue from the beginning. Also got the pyramididon a few times. I have never seen the one that is the nightfall this week.MBAR said:

I'm lvl 20 LL 205 and still haven't finished the campaign so I can't even do strikes yet. I'm more a take your down/enjoy the journey gamer as I've aged.

I would love to run the raid around 7pm central on Friday.
I'd be down to the leviathan raid for the first time! (lvl 271ish Titan)
Are you looking for a blind raid still or do you not care if we already know some of the mechanics? I was only able to make it to the 2nd encounter last week, so I'm partially blind (although I may have taken a peek at what was to come).

For people that haven't finished the whole raid and would like to have some idea of what to do you should check out this video:
It's really long, 40 minutes, but it gets pretty detailed on what to do on each part. I found it helpful before I did the raid for the first time.

How the hell do I level up at 275 when everything that's dropping from rep vendors are 268 purples?
Guess only the weekly milestone drops are now going to be better for me? Should I stop turning in rep at this point?

Here's my suggestion from the previous page...I hope it helps!
Have you finished all the exotic quests? Also have you equipped the legendary mods to your armor? The mods add +5 to your armor or weapon light level. Those will help you get above the 280 mark, which will allow you access to purchasing more legendary mods.
Sorry if you already know this, but if you have a chest piece that is at 275 light level (that includes the +5 armor mod, so the base level would actually be 270) and you infuse it with a 272 light level chest piece, your armor will go up from 275 to 277 (it's actually infusing the 272 into the base 270 LL and then you add the +5 mod). So by adding the modifiers, you will start to push the armor light level drops up slightly.

Yeah, at 275 the weekly milestones are the only things that will drop items that are higher than your power level. Unless you get exotics in pvp matches, strikes, or public events.
cool, thanks for the replies. so should i just stockpile my vanguard/banshee/etc rep coins for when i hit 280?
Id stop. Save them for when you are closer to 300 so they drop at a level you can use. Also, they lag about 7 PL behind where you are. So, if you have a piece of gear that is lagging behind from doing the weekly stuff (powerful engrams), you can turn them in and hope for a lucky drop.TexAgsAnon said:

At 275...weekly stuff and the exotic quests (for MIDA and such) are your ticket.
Really, the best way to level up at 275 is start an Alt. Its a grind to get past the main campaign again, as soon as you hit level 20, the gear will quickly drop for your alt to get em up to around 275. Now you have a fresh set of weeklies to run...they take turns being the highest one.
Heros do all three, but damn...I don't have that grind in me.
a Bungie employee confirmed on twitter yesterday that the loot system cannot see gear mods, so all those +5's gets ignored when loot drops. I wouldn't expend resources on mods unless you absolutely need the power/damage boost to complete the raid or nightfall.
Doesn't make sense to me as my gear routinely drops 7 PL below where I am including the armor mods.TexasAggie_02 said:

My titan is not getting a lot of legendary gear. That said I'm not a titan main.

Faction Wars next week:
For those of you who played D1, you'd know about the three major factions in the Destiny world: Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, and Future War Cult. These haven't been in D2 but will be back next week where you pledge allegiance to one of the factions. You can get tokens by doing events like strikes, public events, crucible, raid, etc. Turning in tokens will allow you to rank up giving you faction armor and weapons.
Each faction will have a powerful weapon and the winning faction's weapon will be introduced into the game at the end of the week. If you pledged to that faction it'll be 1,000 glimmer, otherwise it'll be 50,000 Glimmer.
Dead Orbit: Scout Rifle
Future War Cult: Pulse Rifle
New Monarchy: Sidearm
(so screw New Monarchy obviously)
1 faction per character
Must be level 20
