This morning I had some free time with coffee so I played a random Purple label mission/quest on Nessus. Ended up being really fun with some scary jumping moments. The reward was a kinetic "weapon" that looks like a scroll. Brought it to the dude in the tower and I had to do a bunch of other stuff to finally unlock whatever that scroll hides.

Really cool idea and neat to kind of stumble upon this goofing off.

My buddy (Katydad) in Houston that got flooded finally got time to log in. He is working through the campaign and such now and I told him he needs to join the dang clan. I got an impressive shoulder item "Doom Fang Pauldron" that looks perfect for me since I like my void shield titan from a clan reward this morning.

  • Looks like it basically just replaces the quickplay playlist
  • new Iron banner gear that is green and gold and samurai-inspired
  • Light level doesn't matter
  • 4v4
  • clash and control (maybe supremacy?)
  • earn tokens to turn into Saladin at the Tower.


Prestige Raid releases Oct. 10
  • 300 minimum power level
  • few mechanical changes to the raid
  • provides hard mode loot (different base color and higher light level)

I can't even get normal mode loot from the raid, so how would I know the hard mode loot looks different??

Your kids are grown? Damn. I'm jealous.

If y'all are raiding tonight I'd like to join. My kids are now old enough where they have commandeered my ps4 so I've just been dicking around to reach 280 when they give me the time.

I don't have anything special on Bungie.net either but I found this.

For some reason it doesn't list everyone (only 90 out of 100) not sure why. If you go to all-PVE you can see the time played on the right hand side but I don't know a sure way to tell if they've played recently or shelved it after release day.

Sorry. That was me.

Didn't seem too bad for first timers.

However, I did notice y'all were always tactically engaged, whereas I had to leave the fight a few times and go for a jog to get my stamina back.

Probably didn't help also when one of y'all said to wait up and I ran in and died right away.

I got a notification that some dude left the clan while at the A&M/Bama game and sent Katydad a text and he got in hehe. Nice little app I gotta admit.
