Does anyone have a link for a Destiny noob describing the different currencies/anagrams/etc? It is very confusing and the game does nothing to try and explain it.

So glimmer is the money for the regular game. Helps you buy gear from npc, engrams and gear from weakest to strongest go from White Green, Blue, Purple, Yellow.

Then you have legendary shards. You get those from breaking down legendary equipment (purple) and exotic equipment (yellow) you can use those purple shards to buy from xur in the wild and to infuse gear that is stronger into legendary gear you prefer.

Helping some buddies through the nightfall. 2:30 left on the timer with the boss at less than a sliver of health, and we all 3 die and get stuck with the "finding spawn location" message until the timer runs out.

We almost had it today. We worked on the 3rd room for 3 hours last night before quitting. Today, we got it on the 3rd try...we know how to beat the final boss, just couldn't quite put it together after 3 hours of trying. We feel like we have the mechanics down, but man it's tough.
