My own grades on Trump thus far:

1) Border: A
2) Culture Wars (e.g., reversing DEI trends that had gone too far): A
3) Economy: Incomplete (I am still in wait and see mode and anything from A to F seems possible)
4) Foreign Policy: F - I am not at all convinced Trump or his administration have a well thought out strategy RE Russia/Ukraine, the Gaza problem, maintaining strong relationships with allies, etc..
5) Entertainment: A - Always been a Trump strong point

I give him a D (incomplete) on Jobs. He has shaken it up a bit but he needs to look into H1B and cancel it and replace it with something fool proof. And tariff the offshorers. Either hire here in the US or GTFO to Bangladesh or Somalia. These corps don't do any one a favor by opening their companies here and hire there.
I give him an A on all 5 but would see purging the deep state etc. as a separate category, also an A.
lol you have got to be kidding
Absolutely not. USAID and USIP alone warrant at least a B. Gutting state department/other NGO money pits are the highlights of the admin so far.
Ok and what about Trump himself creating a meme coin that allows anonymous 'donors' to buy access to him with a private dinner at Mar a Lago funded by tax payer dollars? Is that factored in your 'deep state' score or you think it belongs in a different category?

By the very nature of the event the "donors" could not be "anonymous".

Also, and it's been pointed out multiple times, other than the initial issuance of the coin at the original par value, there has been no further money to a Trump org on this. So cut it with the misinformation.

What Musk did is unforgivable and hurts the nation.

Good post....here's my take:

1) I'd say A+; but that's splitting hairs
2) Agreed
3) Agreed...the BBB has to get passed...and after that the DOGE process has to start to cut the bloat.
4) B+ so far...Not near as critical as you. A big part of foreign policy is also border related; and I see no issues with his Gaza policy which is finally let the Israeli's deal with Hamas. He offered them the moon; and Hamas did what Hamas, et al, have been doing since I lost friends in Beirut. He also made it clear that Egypt, Jordan, the ME at large has no intention of helping "the poor Palestinians". So that is also a win. This policy in my view is a success. When Hamas is gone; then let's talk about what the US can/should do for Gaza (which I think is generally just pave it over...been an issue since Genesis). As for the Ukes and Russians...I really don't care as long as we are out of it. He's got them talking which they weren't before...as for Allies; the discussion at this next NATO meeting is getting them to 5% and most are now there. Again, another win and consistent with Trump 45 callouts on NATO being a paper tiger only supported by the US. Not really sure what you expected for 140 days.
5) Not something I rate for any president
6) Military A+- very happy with how that is going...firing generals, holding people accountable, already made the 2025 recruiting number
“It was miraculous. It was almost no trick at all, he saw, to turn vice into virtue and slander into truth, impotence into abstinence, arrogance into humility, plunder into philanthropy, thievery into honor, blasphemy into wisdom, brutality into patriotism, and sadism into justice. Anybody could do it; it required no brains at all. It merely required no character.”

It's as maga logic as it gets.
Not only that, but in his scenario, he would ALSO now know that Trump is a pedophile, but he's OUR pedophile, and so what Musk did for exposing him is unforgivable...

You people are absolutely insufferable. Strawmen, ad hominems, completely twisting words to fit your narrative.

If Trump was on the list you don't think we'd know about it? You don't think the Biden DOJ would have absolutely nuked him on that?

They're both acting like absolute children. My comment was a response to the comment I quoted and meant to reflect the fact that we know what Trump is. We voted for him despite that.
Elon is throwing a temper tantrum because the EV mandate got yanked.

How dare you insinuate that I condone, much less defend pedophilia simply because he's "our guy". Absolutely warped.

Uh, booming? With the credit downgrade, the crashing markets, . . . nevermind, you're clearly not paying attention. The economy sucks right now and it's because of Trump.

Booming with low paid walmart greeter jobs. All the high paid tech jobs are going to foreigners.

Who are they fooling?

Move to Bangladesh, reapply, profit?!

Cost of living has to be way cheaper in Bangladesh. You could live like a king, have servants, then apply for an H1B visa when you ready to come back.

You have got to improve your outlook brother.

No need to worry about me. I am financially good, I don't need to work and I rake money in.. I have put myself in a position where if corps make money, I make money. In a way I am working against my own selfish interest by speaking up because I know it is harmful for America long term (and our kids).

I am worried about people like yourself who think they will get rich by making rich men richer.

So focus on yourself. And your kids. Walmart greeter/bagger jobs don't take you very far.

The attendees of the dinner are not publicized, but even then that's just who 'accepted' the invite, We have no way to know who is buying these coins.

As to your last point, you don't know what you're talking about. When the meme coin was first launched, its creators initially released 20% of the planned 1 billion total coins. Half of that 20% was put up for public sale while the other half was put into a liquidity pool. CIC Digital, an affiliate of the Trump Organization, and another company receive "trading revenue derived from trading activities" of the Trump meme coins. <--This is important.

Through the liquidity pool, the creators of Trump's meme coins make money by charging tiny fees on each trade.

You don't really care about what happens to the price. You only care that there is continuous volume because the more volume there is, that means more trades and therefore more fees for Trump.

Since cryptocurrency blockchains are public, it's possible to track how much in trading fees has been paid. Chainalysis said Trump meme coin creators made more than $1.3 million in trading fees in the week after the dinner was first announced.

It's not a 'claim.' It's per the research conducted by the CBO:
Quote:

CBO estimates that household resources would decrease by an amount equal to about 2 percent of income in the lowest decile (tenth) of the income distribution in 2027 and 4 percent in 2033, mainly as a result of losses of in-kind transfers, such as Medicaid and SNAP (see the figure).3 By contrast, resources would increase by an amount equal to 4 percent for households in the highest decile in 2027 and 2 percent in 2033, mainly because of reductions in they taxes they owe.

As a voter, Trump works for me, not the other way around.

He's done some good things and bad things.

He deserves credit for the good (Immigration control, reduced regulations, confronting DEI, avoiding tax increases, eliminating wasteful spending, etc.).

He also deserves criticism for the bad (inflationary, disruptive tariffs and out-of-control spending, sucking up to Putin, etc.).

The notion that you have to be either all-in for Trump or completely opposed is nuts.

He was still a much better choice than Harris. I'll take a flawed Trump over a despicable Harris, but I'll also call out his stupid behavior and bad policies along the way.
