He didn't cancel anything. And if he did, it gets turned over with the DPA. Part of the deal you make with the devil that is the US govt. You don't just walk away from your part in government contracts.

This fight is a loss for MAGA but Elon is a fool to fight with the President who can often be vindictive. If he disagreed, just distance and move on. Insulting Trump on Twitter is just stupid. So much for his intelligence. Lacks maturity. I wonder how people like this have big achievements and get so rich. The secret to mega success must be something else.

Trump isn't mature either, twitter is a WMD in the hands of people like this who cannot shut up.
Elon could go back to shadowbanning some of Trump's biggest twitter mouthpieces and limiting their reach. Allegedly, there are bots that amplify their reach and Elon could shut them down as well limiting POTUS's positive exposure.

Half of Twitter these days is screenshotting Trump on Truth Social and reposting on X. I think Trump is okay in the social media department. Oh, and TikTok. Which is one of the more egregious offenses by Trump in my book.

Elon not only accused Trump of being a pedophile but also that he (Elon) knew it and was sitting on it until it suited him to go public with it for his benefit.
Trump is an ******* but he's our *******.
What Musk did is unforgivable and hurts the nation.

So in your scenario, it's worse for Elon to know Trump was a pedophile and not share it than for Trump to be a pedophile?

X 1000.

While it was entirely predictable given the egos involved, its also highly disappointing. Get behind closed doors, work the problem out and get a plan together and get it done. People voted for Trump not just because of border security, energy independence and tax cuts, but ALSO for the DOGE efforts and Elon's involvement.

But it's really disappointing the way Republicans, even while the Dems are floundering and weak and Biden's regime is being exposed daily, find a way to step on their own dicks and kill momentum for themselves. Two billionaire children fighting it out on their social media platforms and going below the belt, while on some level comical and predictable, is just ****ing sad and idiotic and accomplishes nothing but giving the media and leftists jerkoff material.

Only took a few months for the whole thing to fall apart. Back to reality and the status quo.

Trump was smart enough to not shut down truth social. Even if Elon shuts him down on twitter, he still can get his message across.

Am I the only one who thinks that Trump and Musk are just messing with the media - who have basically openly wished for a fight between them for months?

I believe Musk has issues with the BBB - and no doubt these two egos would not agree on everything - but the escalation seemed right out of the Friends Thanksgiving scene.

My own grades on Trump thus far:

1) Border: A
2) Culture Wars (e.g., reversing DEI trends that had gone too far): A
3) Economy: Incomplete (I am still in wait and see mode and anything from A to F seems possible)
4) Foreign Policy: F - I am not at all convinced Trump or his administration have a well thought out strategy RE Russia/Ukraine, the Gaza problem, maintaining strong relationships with allies, etc..
5) Entertainment: A - Always been a Trump strong point

I give him a D (incomplete) on Jobs. He has shaken it up a bit but he needs to look into H1B and cancel it and replace it with something fool proof. And tariff the offshorers. Either hire here in the US or GTFO to Bangladesh or Somalia. These corps don't do any one a favor by opening their companies here and hire there.

He jumped the gun and claimed credit for stopping the ass kicking that India was administering to Pakistan after their terrorist attack. He pissed off India, which is mature so they just put out a statement that Trump had nothing to do with it and did not engage in a fighting match or insult Trump. Still, bad show and immature behavior.

I give him an A on all 5 but would see purging the deep state etc. as a separate category, also an A.

I'd give him an A for foreign policy just for working to curtail our revolutions/bombs/money spend via USAID etc. Rubio is his best pick after all. But the above poster is a big Kiev regime proxy war supporter so that explains the difference. Fiscal strategy/cuts to spending via legislation has to be an incomplete right now, especially with the Elon blow up.

The economy is booming, unquestionably, in report after report, though real estate market concerns me.

Agreed.

From what I've seen online, no one on the left things any differently about Elon than they did the day before.

Sure, like most of the country, there enjoying the sheet storm he created between him and Trump, but that isn't changing what they think of him.

Elon's brand with the left is as damaged as ever.

Now to see if the maga who loved him the minute he took over Twitter will continue to love him now that he's gone after the leader of maga.

On the jobs front.... I wish they would eliminate the H1B program. Howver, so many IT related companies are outsourcing so many jobs now to foreign countries.... too little, too late. My son who has 10+ years in the IT field quipped that it was too bad that Pakistan and India didn't engage in a nuclear war because it would garantee him a job for the next several years.

Maybe if trump could argue why his bill is so beautiful when it's challenged by Elon instead of personally criticizing him, there could have been a frank policy discussion.

But, because trump is a ***** on these things, he couldn't overcome his juvenile self. Elon has a real point, trump has a fiscally liberal populist agenda to fulfill.

Trump is the one in the wrong here. Its okay to criticize policy. And it's okay for you to criticize dear leader

Fun fact, space was never "owned" by the government.
“It was miraculous. It was almost no trick at all, he saw, to turn vice into virtue and slander into truth, impotence into abstinence, arrogance into humility, plunder into philanthropy, thievery into honor, blasphemy into wisdom, brutality into patriotism, and sadism into justice. Anybody could do it; it required no brains at all. It merely required no character.”

I am all for canceling H1B completely. Only Boomers who care about their 401k and not the future of our kids are for H1B. And rich CEOs of course who need low paid slaves.

If corps get smart and increase off shoring, tariff their pants off like he is doing in other areas.

Corps need to invest in their communities. Not just take take take. Else they need to GTFO.

Move to Bangladesh, reapply, profit?!

Cost of living has to be way cheaper in Bangladesh. You could live like a king, have servants, then apply for an H1B visa when you ready to come back.

You have got to improve your outlook brother.
