But there has been a lot of "but the Democrats are so much worse" posted in here (see for example, the gripper two posts below yours) since Elon accused Trump of being in the Epstein files. Not that that should even be surprising to anybody because there's very damning circumstantial evidence that suggests there is a very reasonable chance the Trump did have a damning if not criminal relationship with Epstein. Flew on his PJ many times. Videos of him partying with Epstein. Talking to the media about his parties with Epstein and how Epstein likes notably "young" women. And that's before we really get into Trump's sexual proclivity toward both adultry and borderline rape/assault behavior (access Hollywood, Trump talking about how likes to walk into the changing room at Beauty Pageants). But MaoGA does not care because "it would be worse if a Democrat won", right. I mean how much worse. Obviously reality is no match for your imagination. It probably was the choice between a very possible pedophile and the collapse of America, right.
If I had a nickel every time I read some fanfic about how Trump threw out Epstein from Mar-a-lago when he found out he was a pedophile…. As if Trump ever gave a **** about morality when it comes to sex. Let's be honest, even if the "Epstein files" had been released with actual credible evidence and accusations and Biden was president. The terminally online right would reject it as lies and fake anyways.
It's pretty remarkable. Like, setting aside all the moral and ethical issues Trump has publicly ADMITTED to or been CONVICTED of, the ability for MAGA to handwave the open corruption and self serving whims of this administration is astounding.
Trump closed the border; congrats. I hope that materially benefitted people here because everything else he's done will not. In fact, it'll prolly hurt most people who voted for him. He's done nothing to fight inflation, the budget deficit, or wealth inequality. He's quite literally exacerbated those problems and is looking to pass a bill that would be the largest transfer of wealth from the bottom 1/3 of Americans to the top 10%. The Republicans only have 18 months left of a house/senate majority and right now their primary legislative focus is funding a tax cut for the wealthy. This is going to go exactly like his 1st term where 90% of Trump's 'accomplishments' will be through temporary executive orders because his moronic administration can't actually govern through the legislative branch. But you'll be damn sure that's not until after he weaponizes his position to prop his personal bank account, businesses, and oligarch buddies.
But at least a democrat didn't win so TeslaAg and every other MAGA person here can comfortably turn their brain off and ignore the insanity that is plaguing the nation because the imagined alternative would have been
much worse.
