Yeah, the Agenda Free TV guy is hard to listen to at times, but he does a good job of trying to put out information from as many sources as possible, and he keeps politics out of it.

unfortunately, depending on how this turns out, this could very well result in a Dem win, so they are here to lay the groundwork for public revolt against DeSantis.

All prepped to lay all of these AGW deaths at the feet of Dictator DeSantis.

If Florida actually throws him out over some kind of Katrina lies DeSantis should then be invited at once to come lead Texas, or better yet, an entire faction like Meloni.

They can try but the issue is people in Florida have been dealing with hurricanes forever and they know what a good response and a bad response is. DeSantis just makes them look so bad when he just cuts those comments off at the knees like this and he brilliantly pivots to say that attacking him is fine but in reality they are attacking the folks who are working hard to prepare and deal with the hurricane.

Of course they will also go with the "Climate Change!" angle but that looks weak since this has still been a mild hurricane season so far. DeSantis knows the way to win is just to keep moving and make the critics look petty while he looks like a leader.

Just surmised it because was parroting FEMA. Maybe isn't.

Florida is extremely resilient, and the people of the southeast will kick into high gear to help them out. While politicians and the media will spend time politicizing this disaster, I have no doubt that real people will provide hope to those who have their world ripped apart this week.

Because they are asking gotcha questions rather than addressing issues relevant to locals.

I think it is the mesovortices showing up on radar. Explanation of what those are per NASA:
Eyewall mesovortices are small scale rotational features found in the eyewalls of intense tropical cyclones. In these vortices, wind speed can be up to 10% higher than in the rest of the eyewall. Eyewall mesovortices are a significant factor in the formation of tornadoes after tropical cyclone landfall. Mesovortices can spawn rotation in individual thunderstorms (a mesocyclone), which leads to tornadic activity. At landfall, friction is generated between the circulation of the tropical cyclone and land. This can allow the mesovortices to descend to the surface, causing large outbreaks of tornadoes.

DeSantis handles the attacks very well though. He makes reporters look silly in those situations and doesn't give them additional ammo.
