Jack White in a venue with a capacity of 600. Still can't believe I got in. What an epic show.
they came to prominence with a cover of Metallica's sad but true for the blacklist album.MooreTrucker said:

This is probably their most well-known original song:MooreTrucker said:

Iron Maiden at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte:
0. Venue was fine, nothing to complain about or praise, really.
1. The Hu (Mongolian metal band) opened - three guitars, two horsehead fiddles, two drummers, and a lead singer who occasionally broke out a flute or a mouth harp. Good musicians and they were definitely into it, but the vocals seemed tuned down a little bit and were hard to make out (though that could've been due to the fact that they were in Mongolian). Played for ~45 minutes; some of their songs sounded a little samey (again probably the language barrier), but they were a good opening act, and I appreciated their attempts to say Charlotte.
2. Maiden was Maiden, which equals greatness. Bruce's vocals were largely on point and he's a ball of energy bouncing around the stage. Janick Gers was his usual manic self as well, and watching Steve Harris gallop through songs on his bass is always a treat. Theatrics were a bit toned down from the Legacy of the Beast tour in 2022; I only saw giant Eddie come out a couple of times, once to have a gunfight with Bruce, and Bruce didn't break out the hand flamethrowers this time around. Overall great show - definitely not as heavy on the hits as Legacy of the Beast, but it was nice to hear Death of the Celts and Alexander the Great live. Really would've liked to hear Paschendale, but that's probably a pipe dream.

WTF is Rainbow Kitten Surprise? Downtown at POST and apparently that's the show at 713 … place is crawling with people for that show
They are completely out of band names.
My Chemical Romance
Baby Metal
Bowling For Soup
Panic at the Disco
These are all terrible band names yet better than what you just mentioned.
Not everyone can be Diarrhea Planet
Oh hells yeah, my best friend lives in Fort Collins and is a Dev nutcase (and huge Tesseract fan), I'll be joining him for Denver show almost certainly. That is going to be an incredible show, guaranteed!Hub `93 said:

That's a heck of a twin bill. Only Texas stop is in Dallas.
this just made my day! Didn't even have to click the link to see if he stops in Denver.Echoes97 said:Oh hells yeah, my best friend lives in Fort Collins and is a Dev nutcase (and huge Tesseract fan), I'll be joining him for Denver show almost certainly. Got my ticket. Last time he headlined here at oriental theater, I didn't hear about it soon enough and he sold out. Not letting that happen again!
Ogden is only 550 people
Echoes; Curious your thoughts on new album?
I'm really digging glacier, falling apart, jainism, ubelia. Gratitude is a great feel good song.
I don't think it's quite as strong as lightwork though.. and that had the extra 'demo' album, I wish this did too.

I had an asbolute blast staying at that Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, FL for the Miami game last year. Would love to do that all over again this time for PJ. Wish they didn't take a day off bretween every show on that tour run.
