Saw Garth at Caesars this week. That was an amazing show in a pretty small venue.

Saw him at AT&T a couple summers ago. He's a good show live, his shirt was drenched by the end of it.

Quiet Riot reminds me of Randy Rhodes. I miss that guy. Easily my biggest guitar influence growing up. So sad we lost him so early.

I don't know how he does it. Never stops moving the entire time. Seen him a couple times, always a great show.

Seeing Manchester Orchestra and Thrice in November. MO is performing Cope in full, Thrice is performing Beggars in full.

Didn't know much about Thrice before this and upon digging into their discography I realized I've been missing out. Great band with a widely varied sound. Can't wait for the concert.

Sarah McLachlan tomorrow night in Irving. Saw her last month at Red Rocks - was an amazing show!

Rolling Stones in LA at SoFi next Wednesday. Get to check another one off the bucket list!

Do you get a free dog when you get to your seats at the Sarah McLachlan concert or do you have to buy it at the merch tent?

Have not been to Stable Hall yet, but talked to someone recently who said they really enjoyed the venue for a recent show.
Loved Stable Hall. It was definitely worth the 3 hour drive to San Antonio to see The Black Angels play there last weekend.

When she played Angel during the encore, the dogs parachuted down into the crowd !

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I have never seen Heart and we specifically bought tickets to the stadium show in Boston to see Heart. ARRRGH!

Hope she heals well, sounds like a great prognosis.

Hope they check folks for sharp objects on the way in. Keep people from stabbing themselves repeatedly in the neck.

Just pointing out that I starred because I don't know who these kids are. That being said, it was enjoyable. Lights / harness / showmanship stuff was cool. They ain't making any of my play lists, but 12yo loved it and I loved seeing that with her.

No, haven't heard that one. I looked them up thinking AJR is just an acronym or nickname for a band I may have heard of, but it's just AJR.

Then good for you, Dad! A night well spent.

I have to say that this is the most surprising thing about being a parent that no one ever told me: I get more joy and exhilaration and satisfaction seeing my kid thoroughly enjoy themselves or succeed or reach a goal or earn an award than I would have if I had done it myself.

Yes - the show was amazing! I can't believe these guys can still rock it like they did!

Sofi is a work of art! Not a big fan of the concourses - we were in the 100's section and there were only a couple of ways to get out into the main concourse - not every section had a way out, so there was a huge traffic jam to get out. Sound was surprisingly really good - did hear a few echoes of Jagger's lyrics against the back of the stadium - but not a problem.

A few pics ....
