Really looking forward to the premiere tonight. Anyone else checking this out?

Will check out. From what I can tell, seems similar to old series Heroes?

I have it ready to record, but I'm not excited for it. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I'm a big Marvel fan. Hope this doesn't disappoint.

I am pessimistic, but I want it to be good. I just fear it will be more human-centric. Heroes will be few and far between. Villains? It would have to be humans, like a spy agency or crime super organization trying to harness superhuman powers/artifacts for their own reasons.

It will be more human centric, not sure if good or bad. I imagine it'll be like Transformers with less explosions. There'll be humans but the stars (superheroes/super villains) will be lacking.

Villain guess: AIM.

I don't have high hopes, but will dvr.

I will give it a shot but I don't think it makes it a season.

Im hoping that after avengers grossed over a billion JW was able to get total creative control of the marvel universe in TV and film. With the film he gave people what they want badasses, witty quips, and hot girls meanwhile keeping it fresh.

My other fear is the lack of SFX. I'm sure they have the budget to do top of the line explosions and CG, I'm tking about reasons to have FX. Shield has funny looking guns that shoot funny looking payloads, a villain organization may have the same plus explosions. What we won't see is a vibranium shield, or lightning from a hammer, or a beast jumping building to building killing bad guys, or armored space whales detaching flight pods.

I have the DVR set.

I hope that it's good, because I need some mindless blowing up stuff television since Burn Notice is gone.

Ming Na Wen is in it and she's always nice to look at.

Forgot August Richards was in it, looking forward to see him in it.

Also, I've figured for awhile now that Coulson would turn out to be an LMD. Sets up bringing in the Vision in a future Avengers movie.
