Our luck was about as bad as possible on Monday night. Nothing went well for us. We're due some good fortune.

But there should be 6 umpires for the whole CWS. NCAA being cheapskates, as usual.

It wasn't your luck that went bad. It was your pitching and hitting.

I would consider losing a good starter unexpectedly to arm soreness to be pretty bad luck. It was a manageable game until Walker had to leave. We hit line drives right at people. Weird double plays.

Just wasn't our night. The pitching and hitting was awful, but once Walker went out, we had no chance. Everything spiraled out of control.

I don't think he realizes OSU won that game vs LSU losing it. Also, don't know how an ump missing a call like that is luck making up for errors and misplayed balls.

To be fair lsu did walk like 10 batters and had some unfortunate errors...wouldn't call it bad luck though , just a bad game

They won the game, but 12 walks and several missed playes on our part had a LOT to with that. That was as badly as we've played in any game this year. We made it way too easy for them.

Don't forget 1 run on 4 hits, 2 of which came in the 9th if I remember correctly.

Per the broadcast, the coach has to ask for a review outside the four designated items (catch/no-catch - [See Davidson]).

You have to have a little luck to win in baseball. We had some luck Saturday, and we had anything but luck on Monday, where everything went wrong. It evens out over the course of the season. You just have to keep putting yourself in good positions.
