No issue with him going home there. Hard hit ball but he got a great jump, went on contact.... Defense just made a better play.

Don't know about that. Ball was hit to an infielder essentially standing on the grass as if he was playing in. You shouldn't run in that situation with one out.
They played it perfectly and he was out by all of 8 inches. Not a stupid call to send him by any means.

If he was waiting to see if the ground ball was going to get through, he was never running anyway.
As it was, it took a 9/10 field and throw home to get him out.
They forced Florida to make a play and they did.
Florida is winning by being the better team and giving LSU no breaks. Great game!

I am,not aure what play you watched, but it was not the same,one the rest of us watched.
There was no attempt to go to the base, there was an attempt to go directly at the SS who was well off the basepath, spikes were up and it absolutely affected the throw to 1st.
