One of the announcers last night said that tcu's offensive philosophy is to rarely bunt and to put the petal to the metal once they get a lead especially in the later innings. Sounds complete opposite of coach bolt

Bolt is a very good hitting coach and teaching guys the way to swing. He's a super competitive guy and really adapts his offense to the abilities of the players. He'll bunt when he needs to, likes the hit and run and will steal guys if we have the speed to do so .
I see his style as be aggressive at the plate and on the basepaths. Do the little things bunt for hits, try to read balls in the dirt, and always operate with confidence.

I expect Florida and Oregon State to advance. But there's still hope for a miracle. Rasmussen is a closer and hasn't thrown a lot of innings since Tommy John surgery. If we can somehow jump on him and have Gilbert give us 6 good innings, we have a chance.
Losing Walker probably killed our chances though. Figures we'd have a legit third starter for the first time in forever only to lose him to injury in Omaha.

I guess I'm rooting for LSU, but I don't want another game where one team gets an early lead and sits on it the whole way. Doubt that will be a problem. Enjoyed the last time I saw Gilbert pitch in person.
