I was on my phone and mixed up where he went to school.
I've been as high on him as anyone, but just thought I should pass along some observations from someone who watched him in college and then last week. And from what I remember, he's in better shape than he was LAST YEAR, not from college. My dad says he looks like he cant get his bat around like he could in college. Sorry for attempting to provide some insight.

Wandy has been suprisingly decent. I wouldn't seeing him as a possible 5th starter:

I want everybody to get their shot. Besides Straily, he sucks. I've been impressed by Wandy... I like how he works fast like Keuchel.

Sparks is pretty awful play by play during his two innings. Ford is really good though. You might've just caught a bad day.

There were 2 split squad games today. The 21-6 game was in Mexio City
A bunch of minor league arms got roughed up, but offensively, Moran had a really nice game, including his second homerun of the spring. He's likely to start the year at AAA, but he's put together a really nice spring.
Back in the states, Reed continued to swing it well, launching his third homerun. Singleton also had a good day.
Several of our regulars are starting to struggle a bit. It sure would be nice to see them pick it up a bit this last week of spring training.

Anybody else concerned about our rotation with McCullers starting the year on the DL? Keuchel, McHugh and nothing special after that. Lots of question marks with Fister, Fiers and Feldman.
Feldman isn't exactly a bad 5th...
But Feldman is a 33 year old coming off of injury.
Feldman, Fiers, and Fister have all had a rough ST. Hoping it's working things out and they get in gear for the season.
I'd be interested in seeing what we do with Michael Feliz. Dude has been impressive this spring.

Feldman said in a few interviews that he was trying to get a changeup this spring. You never know what they're working on so I wouldn't worry about spring stats. Rotation will be solid.
Do I think we have an awesome rotation? No. Do we have enough guys to not be worried? Of course. This would be the year that we trade for a david price type before the trade deadline if they can't get it done.
