I think PATFO need to figure out what kind of team they want to be, The transition from the "beautiful game" to running everything through Kawhi and LMA hasn't really sunk in yet...we have no offensive identity right now and half the team is built for one or the other. Makes us incredibly disjointed when one or the other doesn't work and when substitutions aren't perfect.
I think I would trade Aldridge for Adams if they would throw in a bag of rocks. Aldridge has vanished.
Aldridge is not a leader and that's evident from the playoff disappearances. There's a reason why Portland let him get away. Very passive player who isn't physical.

Concur, I think they outsmarted themselves. Instead of just keeping the beautiful game and emphasis on ball movement, they went with Leonard/Aldridge iso. We basically became the Thunder. I think Pop thought the 2nd unit could just come in and flip a switch and still play the beautiful game and that just isn't reality.
Ironically the Thunder went and got Adams and Kanter to go with their big 3 and are killing us with depth and rebounding.
I mean if you had to line up the depth right now I would have it as such:
Westbrook>Parker
Durant>Green
Robertson<Leonard
Ibaka>Duncan
Adams=Aldridge
Waiters>Manu
Kanter>Diaw/West
The Thunder have a significant advantage until you start getting into the 8th and deeper players.

Adams and Aldridge are not equal. They are asked to do different things and are different players. If you wanted a bruiser who could get out backs, tap ins, and rebounds. Take Adams.

It amazes me if there's a single person left who thought this game would turn out any differently from am officiating perspective. People laughed at me earlier when I posted the series was over because of officiating and I even posted in game 2 that we'd lose the whole series if there were more games like that. Guess what, there were more games like that.
We'll lose by shooting like dog **** but the game being dictated from one side by the officials didn't hurt. We had one good officiating game (3 iirc we shot 30 fts).
Never thought we'd miss Aaron Baynes, but he was a guy that could bang with Adams and was athletic enough to not constantly be a step slow like Boban.
I agree with you right now, but based on age, salary and demeanor I think i would trade Adams right now and get the salary space.

For all the crappiness of this game, Timmy has played really well. He may not show any emotions, but you can always count on him bringing it when the team needs it.
