Completely agree. And Westbrook and Durant will always get to the basket even against elite bigs. But without Timmy holding down the middle, y'all's role players had a lot of success driving into the lane. That plus the inability to grab a dang rebound last night was a big reason our defense struggled.

I'm honestly not trying to. We had a chance to win the game and went cold. The refs didn't make us miss shots down the stretch.

AT&T Center better be freaking rocking tomorrow night. Spurs have got to get some contributions from patty and Diaw. I think Diaw needs more minutes, IMO.

Duncan has been getting abused. Adams is dominating him and everyone else the Spurs have out on him. You have to beat OKC when Westbrook is off. Letting Adams beat you is a big sign of trouble.

Patty has also been terrible. Spurs have to get contributions from Green, Duncan, and Patty.

I think the Spurs would love to try to play small ball to negate the Adams/Ibaka advantage but that is risky when Westbrook and Durant are getting hot and to be honest Aldridge's play (before the 4th Qtr of last night) has demanded the Spurs stay big.

Bottom line is the Spurs need to shoot the three at a respectable percentage (which small ball and less ISO should facilitate). If they do that, they will win going away, if not it will be another close one decided late.

Someone or a combo out of Green, Mills, Manu or Diaw has to step up and hit some threes. Way too many open looks being bricked right now. This team is almost unbeatable when someone besides Leonard is knocking down threes consistently. Just have to figure out who else will step up.

The Spurs have to win the next two games to have any shot at Golden State IMHO.

GS will close tomorrow night and Game 1 of the WCF will either be Monday or Tuesday. If the Spurs go 7 vs OKC that game will be Sunday night and they will play Game 1 at Oracle on Tuesday night. GS would be coming off 5 full days of rest. Would be exhausting mentally and physically for SA. Spurs need to close this thing out by Thursday.

Well see what we're made of tonight.

I'm really hoping we beat OKC because I can't stand those guys! But then we play the Warriors, and I can't stand those guys either!

But seriously, this entire year has been a collision course for Spurs vs. Warriors. Don't be a punk and get all red hot and ruin it for us OKC. Because we know exactly what happens when you use up all your luck/strength/etc. to beat the Spurs... you lay an absolute egg in the next round!

Pop has to be better with the lineups tonight. No more messing around. If Pop genuinely thinks Duncan can't play vs this team then he has to go to Diaw over West to close these games IMO. Diaw is the superior player and while both will struggle on the glass, Diaw opens up more offensively for the Spurs and won't make dumb mistakes/commit stupid fouls.

Spurs need a big game from Patty tonight as well. He has to bring more to the table.

Assuming Danny and Kawhi stay out of foul trouble, I wouldn't mind seeing Martin get Anderson's minutes in the first half tonight. Obviously don't want him defending Durant/Westbrook but there's chances to get him into the game while Roberson/Waiters/Payne are out there. He could add some needed scoring punch and OKC will have to respect his shot if nothing else. Anderson has defended admirably this series but he's not making enough of a positive impact to definitively warrant the minutes IMO.

I actually thought Anderson played Durant pretty well in the first half of game four and should have been used more in the second half when Durant started going off.

I like the idea of Martin, but the reality has been that he doesn't look like he can be relied on for much of anything in a big game.

I do think Anderson has done a decent job on KD, but I'm not sure its a net positive compared to his inability offensively. I definitely don't want Martin checking KD, as I said, but I think there's a better way to handle the minute distribution where you can keep one of Kawhi/Green on KD while letting Martin get a few minutes. Anderson's inability to shoot the ball and overall indecisiveness really hurts this team in the half court. And I'm only talking about a few minutes here just to see if his shooting can help at all.

If it's a close game, I prefer neither of them to see minutes in the second half though - just to be clear.

This is actually pretty huge. Finished with 3 more points than LeBron.

Kawhi is 24 YEARS OLD. He will have a great shot at winning it in the next couple of years.

Since Pop doesn't trust Boban we need Duncan to stay out of foul trouble as he is the only player able to bang with Adams. No freakin way Waiters plays as well as he did in Game 4, it is freakin Dion Waiters. Pop needs to find a better way to manage KL min. His legs were shot in the 4th quarter. Diaw Diaw Diaw! OKC is doing a great job running us of the 3 pt line. I am hoping for 1 more vintage Manu game. Something around 17 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists.
