Thunder have continuosly adjusted and gotten better this whole series. Spurs peaked in game one. Donovan is out-coaching Popp (never thought I'd say that).
More like thunder have continuosly gotten away with murder while the spurs can blow air on durant or westbrook and get a flagrant 2 called

Pop going away from the pick and roll is baffling. They should be putting Kanter in it every play he is on the floor.

I actually really agree with this. Assuming we don't somehow win two in a row against OKC, the Warriors will dismantle OKC. The thunder will have no more juice in the tank after this series and will lay an egg.

OKC played GS very tough this year. Kanter and Adams will be a lot for them to handle. I think GS would ultimately win but I think OKC can take it to 6 or 7.
quote:Aldridge (6 of 21 from the floor) came up small tonight. He missed a critical open look in the lane late.
Parker takes Spurs last four shots. Not Leonard, Not Aldridge.
Not parkers fault either. Taking open shots he believes he can make. Pop refuses to put ball in his best players hands down the stretch.
quote:Agreed. Popp is one of the greatest of all time but Donovan has been out coaching him.
When we got that turnover with 30 something seconds left, we should have called a TO right then. Only down 1, let's make sure we get a good shot. Either get Verde a open 3 since he was on or get Kawhi down in the post and let him go to work.
Instead lets dribble around and do nothing and throw up a terrible 18 foot jumper. That right there was poor coaching, which I rarely say about Pop
quote:Lol no.
The front office, Duncan and the rest of the team made Pop. I am being some what facetious, but I really did used to yell at Pop -- telling him Bob Hill was a hell of a lot better than his dumb ass. Who knows, Bob might have 8 or 9 rings with the same setup.
