Best we ever had was proably Michael Del La Torre - played TE for A&M '99 & 2000 but couldn't stay healthy.
Only player in the NFL now is Eric Heitman - offensive lineman for the 49ers. Also the most talented guy overall I've met.

Greatest

Plano has had a few good "high school" qb's but none that really went on to greatness beyond that. I'd have to check on who you might be referring to. Butch Fifield was the qb when I was there, but he was more of a d bag than a great qb. Plano had their 2 worse seasons my junior & senior year...Mr. Fifield had a lot to do with that.

Jeff "The Jet" Bergeron was a first team all american rb his senior year. The other rb on the all american team that year was a guy by the name of Tony Dorsett. "The Jet" played under Bill Yoemen at UH and then Seattle Seahawks. He was a phenomenal running back for the PN-G Indians.

Kingwood's best product was John Ellisor, All SWC OL in '91 and '92, Honorable Mention All-American in '92 while playing for A&M. Wrist injuries kept him out of the NFL.

Humble High School

Lots of good players

David Boston (Ohio St)- 8th pick in draft, Arizona Cardinals, Chargers, Dolphins. Multiple school records for WR at Ohio State.
Sammy Davis (A&M)- first round pick, Chargers
David Givens (notre dame)- 6th round pick, caught TD in superbowl with NE
Kobe Davis (oregon State)
Leo Mills (Arizona)- Best player I have ever seen in person, including all of the above on the list
Jackie Battle (U of H)- Kansas City Chiefs
Bert Berry (Notre Dame)- Colts, Broncos, Cardinals (lead NFL in sacks for a year or 2)

Jerrod Johnson (A&M)
Chris Alexander (A&M)
Eric Mays (A&M)

old school-
Mike Mosley (A&M)- QB for Ags, and played with the Bills

We have had alot of good players come out of Humble, and I would put this list of players up against any other high school.

Lamar Consolidated. Alan Faneca (LSU/Steeler, now Jets) is the best we've had.

Mr. Randy Watson mentioned several others earlier on this thread, but I'd like to add:

Michael Lewis (Colorado/Eagles, now 49ers) Earnest Jackson (A&M/Chargers)

I can't recall names but we had:

- Several guys play D2 ball
- 2 guys get offers from Northwestern (they dropped out when the playbook was too difficult)
- 1 HB that played for Purdue
- 1 QB that played pro in Italy.
- 1 QB that is currently a walk-on at TAMU (Westerman?)

Our biggest claim to any kind of fame was Ron Gant. Others of interest are:

- Doug Drebeck - played BB for private high school in same town
- Buddy Wyatt (TAMU DL Coach) - played DT for Stroman High School (cross town rivals)

Already saw Quentin Coryatt mentioned. He was by far the best. We also had:

Clint Stoerner, aka stumble, crumble, fumble. Drew Tate, had a good college career (and was close to being an aggie).
Ell Roberson was decent for KState.
Brian Johnson, current qb for Utah.
