craig stump was my high school coach. He definitely went to school in Port Arthur, where his dad was the head coach. He played football there with Todd Dodge, and I think they may have been at A&M and tu at the same times as well

For Richardson Berkner, that would be Everson "Cubby" Walls. Others with nice pro careers include Kevin Murphy (2nd round LB - OU and Tampa Bay), John Goodman (2nd round defensive end, OU and Steelers), Aundra Thompson (WR - Packers). The jury is still out on Aqib Talib (CB Kansas and Tampa Bay rookie).

The Klingler brothers went to Houston Stratford, which is where Craig James went.

To the Brenham crowd:

Roosevelt Leaks was a Brenham RB who I think was the 1st Black to play at UT. He played a few years for the Colts. You also need to mention Cecil Cooper as well.

Defensive end for the Buffalo Bills, 4 time AFL All-Star from 1962-1965; voted to the All-Time AFL squad alongside such guys as Joe Namath and George Blanda.

Dude was an absolute beast if you talk to people around town.

Many of his peers thought he was as good or better than his NFL contemporary DL Bob Lilly but his career was cut short by a knee injury.

I was the original poster for Bay City. Hart Lee Dykes was left off as I don't count cheaters.........I did leave off Mark Denard. My bad.

My bad on Simon Fletcher too. I thought he went to Wharton HS. Just looked it up to confirm.
