Thats houston proper, correct? I wonder what the Harris County total and the greater Houston area total is. Doubt the latter adds too many to thou count but the former probably does.

Not that he deserved to die and thankfully the kid wasn't hurt but you've gotta think he was involved in some shady dealings to be targeted like that.

According to the story, the perps were driving the wrong way down a row of angled parking spaces. Maybe they came to close to him or something. The story indicated that he had words with them about their driving and they killed him for it.
Feral humans.
COVID has caused people to completely forget how to drive. I've seen lots of wrong way driving on one way streets and the wrong side of the median.Sea Speed said:
Speaking of bad drivers, I've passed 3 people driving the wrong way down a road in the last week. All 3 on the entire wrong side of a median. So sketchy.

Also see tons of people badly misjudge speed and distance and nearly cause collisions all the effing time now.

Absolutely disgraceful. If anyone thinks that little **** won't take off, they're sadly mistaken. News said when he was arrested he had a big bag packed ready to go.

Probably put up a house, maybe a car, to a bondsman to meet the $25,000.

seriously? The county does not go after the bond?
Copying my comment from back on page 20 of this thread:Quote:
In Harris County, bail companies rarely pay in full and give the court an equivalent of a provisional IOU with the backing of insurance agencies, said County Court at Law No. 8 Judge Franklin Bynum.
If a defendant skips court, prosecutors can move to revoke or forfeit the defendant's bond. Revocations trigger an arrest warrant and their return to court upon their capture. Forfeitures are a more tedious process that results in the court keeping the bail amount but only after a judge agrees and prosecutors successfully sue to seize the money.
This. Anyone who is still a democrat lib at this point is a f-ing joke. Do not take them seriously when it comes to anything in life. I simply cannot even be real friends with any people that vote for this sh** at this point...especially as they demonize "Trumpsters" who just want law and order and a well run country.Easy, Rod said:

We think it's bad here, I hear horror stories about LA lately from friends. We are probably just behind them as we have some catching up to do on the BSC liberal spectrum. We'll get there though.
