Rain is stopped for now and some sun out in BCS now. If the lines stay as they were passing through here, rain should last about 2.5-3 hours.

It was dark and pouring for about 15-20 minutes over near 45 and Richey, but the skies have lightened a bit and the rain is still steady but not as hard.

my mother just texted me this

There is a posting on Facebook just about an hour ago where a woman was reporting a coworker saying that she was on Eldridge near Patterson when the police came sirens on yelling through dirt outside speakers to get everyone off that road. The woman said that a bunch of deer came running out from somewhere and then she noticed that the water was rising very fast. Might be possible that something is breached over in that area

That's a lot of he said she said, but I know there have been a lot of Ad****s reservoir worries

I would think Eldridge and Patterson would be under water at this point. I have seen a picture of deer at Bear Creek Park where it is flooded.

I'm not saying that it isn't true, but I can't figure out what people are worried about on that side of the dam rupturing. There isn't a dike on that side of the dam from all I can figure. The reservoir is just a single sided dam. If anything ruptures, it is going to be to their benefit.

I agree, story sounds fishy given the location has been closed since Monday

But there is a lot of controversy over the reservoir and it breaching and what not so who knows

Yes, that is from the levee by brittmore looking west. The trees in the median are the clue. And you would be able to see the lights at veterans memorial if it were looking east from bear creek.

Unless that deer pic was taken during a previous flood, it could not have been seen Monday because that part of clay road was not under water until Tuesday afternoon.
